If I was going there and wanted something free I would go for the jacket with curried beans and grilled veg and a salad and wouldnt have butter, then it would be free.
Or I would have the eggs or veg in curried sauce with rice and assess, if its oily, add syns for the amount of oil you think is in it- but leave the nan and go for rice.
Or the grilled veg couscous and jsut add on the syns for the dressing Id imagine the rest would be free anyway?
Good choices there I went for the savoury rice stuffed pepper with dressing free salad - very tasty but not that filling, the owner asked me twice if I wanted some vegan choc cake as I'd always had a slice in the past. Will power was strong so said no, stuck to fruit for a snack. Not sure how to work out syns for the pepper meal - the rice was done with vecon as stock so free, pepper was oven baked fat free, so really only the mediteranian dressing - which was tomato and not a lot of it - maybe 3?
Big difference from the Mexican restaurant I use to visit - bet my lunch of refried bean burittos and fries was about 40 syns plus the pint of beer:eek:
Am so hungry now think I fancy a jacket and beans for tea with a pile of the purple sprouting my parents have brought - good job I'm well use to a diet high in beans and veggies having been veggie, then vegan for so many years.
So food today on my usual green day:
B- beans/toms/mushrooms/2 slices veg bacon
L - Rice stuffed pepper, salad
T- jacket/beans/veggies
Snacks - apple and orange so far, will have some rice pud or a soya yoghurt later and try to ignore any wine - have had 1 glass in 3 weeks now - good change from 1 a day usually!Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

Thanks Bexstars,
Yep, I'm feeling more full and satisfied like you said, but so much so, I don't always have all my healthy extras as I'm already full up. I do try and incorprate them into my meals, but on a couple of days this week, I haven't had 4 HEs, just 3. Do we HAVE to have all of them - sometimes I don't have all my sins either, think thats more due to the fact that I've given up booze for 6 weeks tho, so I do envisage that will change after next week weekend!!!
Hope you are all having a good weekend.

Try to have 2 HEb's as the fibre is the impotant bit, you are ok to have 1 HEa though. SW say 2 b' & 1 or 2 a's. Syns should be at least 5 but up to 15 a day, think most go for 10 though. HTHIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Mrsmcawber, your Fryits sound fandabbydosy! Will try them this week, but coated with polenta (free on G) as I can't use breadcrumbs. Have a bit of confidence, as I lost 4 lbs 1st week, so I,ve got the hang of it again, & it still works-I hope. Lost 3.5 stone last time & have stupidly put 2 of them back on.0

For the extra A on a red or green day I often use a laughin cow triangle instead of butter in a sandwich its lovely with bacon and mushroom toastie or ham salad. On a green day I tend to chuck some bacon in a pasta bake for work. My girls love the homepride pasta bake sauce for school and college which is 25.5 syns for a jar so I dilute it down with a carton of passata(0) and freeze half it works out about 2 -3 syns per portion and use the HEA for the cheese. I find taking lunch is my biggest headache so I'm taking at least two mornings a week working from home which gives me greater access to cook something. Now its getting colder I'll take soup and a roll (HEB) some days.
I tend to save the majority of my syns for the weekend alcohol as it is all really high in syns - spirits not too bad but wipes out the next day for me! So I'm not only losing lbs on this diet but days as well:pMama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.0 -

Funily enough I was flicking through the directory and noticed refried beans are free on all plans :j
Havent bought these recently as presumed high syn.
Tonight is mexican (style) peppers, onions mushrooms courgette stirfried with mexican spices and a slip of passata, with black beans, rice and taco shells (2.5 each)
However the rest of the junk Ive been eating has been not so goo but less said about that the better. I think im going to broadly follow (!!) the plan for the next week or so but I have a lot on and no time to cook or shop at all so if I dont have it in the house we arnt eating it.:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Chinese Takeaways - not today but next weekend I usually have prawns in black bean sauce and boiled rice, beef in black bean sauce is showing as 5 on red and EE - would the prawns be the same does anyone think?Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.0

So far today
B - Bacon, eggs, baked beans, Mr M sausages (1)
L - Pasta n Sauce (Tom one) with onion and mushroom
D - HM stew (beef, oxo, leek, onion, potato, parsnip, carrot, swede) with 3 slices of WW danish to dunk (HEB)
