Morning all! Mrs M, those recipes sound scrummy, I'm looking forward to the recipes!!! I too have LOADS of cooking magazines, I must do the same as you!

Whoever asked about broccoli soup, I made one a while ago, it sounds a bit strange and looks like liquidised aliens but was quite scrummy! I can't remember the exact quantities I'm afraid but this is what I did:

Boil broccoli and a choppen onion in stock., once broccoli is quite soft add half a pack of spinach, once wilted liquidise then stir in some boursin or roulade cheese (I think you can get light versions of both).

I am going EE today I think:

    Brekkie - porridge (HEA&B), banana
Lunch - leftover cold SW chips, 2 leftover cold sausages (still need to check syns), lentil and veg soup, HM apricot yogurt.....straaaaange combination!!!
Tea - rosemary chicken, veg, potatoes. I might try doing cubed, fried (in frylight) potatoes for a change!.
Snacks - lots of fruit, I have a pear, 2 plums, a nectarine and an apple but I might not eat it all!!!

Thats awful, TakeItEazy. I hope you get it sorted soon - its so upsetting to think that someone has done this. We had our credit card used once and someone had spent £800 at a computer shop. We still have no idea how they got our credit card details. We cancelled the card immediately and luckily the credit card company gave us the money back.

Can anyone give me the recipe for pudding rice with yoghurt and fruit, which is a breakfast meal?

    Here you go:

Cook 1/2 cup of pudding rice in 1 cup of water for about 20 minutes or until all the water is absorbed (I use my remoska). Remove from heat put into a bowl, add fruit and a complementing muller yogurt and mix together! ie rice with sliced banana and toffee yogurt, rice with frozen blueberrys and a blueberry yogurt, rice with mandarin segments (chopped) and mandarin yogurt. For best results eat straight away while it is nice and warm! Tastes really nice and is very very filling! Also free on SW green and EE so can be made any time you fancy it really!

ps - I have done the same thing with cous cous as well - tastes good!
When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!

Just think about next week's loss though :D and I'm :rotfl:about all this dyno rod talk! :D Are you on medication which is causing it? if not have you been to see your GP to discuss it? I wonder if a detox/colon cleanse would help you. Do you use things like figs and prunes? It might be worth a few of your syns to take some of that daily. Got to do less harm than keeping faeces inside you for 3 days!

Not sure what I'm doing today - will try to incorporate a visit to enrol at the college gym though :A For brekkie I had 100ml freshly juiced apple juice (will look up syns later as i have already missplaced my book :o) and an apple and two nanas. Quite pleased when I filled in my food diary yesterday, as there as far more superfree foods than green :A Okay and a fair few syns, but under 15 so thats okay :)

Do you count things like cous cous you buy at a salad bar as just syns (cos of the oil etc) or write it in both the free foods and syns box?

I'm going to try making a very green soup - broccoli, spinach and garlic and onion I think. May have to try a little borsin in it, cos it sounds so lovely ;) Will freeze it in portions.

Will also make some butternut squash soup and freeze, and if I have enough tupperwares after those two how can I resist the dynorod soup! :D

I was sooooo sceptical about Quorn before i started SW. Can't believe how good it is. I know its a bit weird how they make it, but surely no more weird than some of the things they do to meat nowadays:eek:
Made a quorn bolognaise yesterday and it was yummy, fed it to DD and she ate the lot, no mention of it tasting any different to normal:T Tasted just as good reheated today:p I am a Quorn convert;)

I have devised a reward system for my success in SW. Hope it will work!
I'm allowed one day 'off plan' every 2 weeks til i reach target. Then will take it from there.
For my first 1/2 stone off i will allow myself £50 to spend on something nice. I have my eye on a lovely Marc Jacobs scarf.

When i reach my first stone i get £100. Next half stone another £50. That will take me to 8st 10. I would ideally like to be about 8st but will reasses how i look as i dont want to be too skinny.

Yes I had Brain surgery earlier this year and the meds for that cause probs also ive got ongoing probs with my tum & oesophagus which Im having tests for ...these are also causing probs in the dyno rod dept so I take meds for that too (hence me needing to drink at least 8 pints of water a day under doctors instructions as the meds need water to work in the colon).....except they dont always work  (but in fairness they dont always work because I dont always drink as much as Im supposed to :o) oops:o
