Morning all....feeling a bit happeir today! My Bos is on hols for over 2 weeks so I can have a break from him hassling me!!!
BettyB, I made tha lamb dhansak last week and we both loved it. I'll def be making it again but I'm going to try using a cheaper cut of lamb and cooking it for longer and I'll just add the lentils later so they don't turn to mush.
I'm doing EE today as we're at OH's parents for tea so I don't know what I'm having....need to save syns for that too as she's not very good at healthy cooking lol!
Brekkie - porridge (HEA&B), banana
Snack - pear, apple
lunch - salad, ham, cottage cheese, fat free dressing, small jacket spud, yogurt, mixed berries
snack - nectarine
tea - ???0 -

If you are feeling that bad I would say don't think about syns in medicine, just get yourself well and try and have some fruit and veg to keep your vitamins and minerals up. One of the best things for vitamin C is strawberries so maybe you could treat yourself to some of them, much better than citrus fruit and they are a lot easier to eat if you are feeling shocking. Get well soon!
Yeah that is a good point. Might treat myself to some boots Codeine!!
Tend to eat lots of fruit anyway but can't face food!!0 -

I agree about the lentils - if they were dry then putting them in early would have made sense, but out of a can they could have gone in nearer the end. I bought ready chopped lamb from MrT but next time will definately go to the butcher for my meat. Or I might try it with chicken!!
tonight I'm doing a sort of greek mezze style dinner - have just looked up the recipes and tweaked them!
Leftover chunks of lamb are going to be diced and cooked with yellow peppers, mushroom, onion, tomatoes, red chilli and chickpeas.
Then I'm doing green lentils with red chilli, cumin, coriander, sweetcorn, spring onion and carrots
And some boiled and diced potato fried (in frylite) with paprika
then hm hummus and hm yog dip with fresh mint and garlic, and some slices of grilled halloumi! yum!!Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

Sadly it wasn't even anything special - it was a Sainsburys Value Milk Chocolate bar - I keep in the house for OH's cravings but he'll have to go and get his own from now on - I just can't know it's in the cupboard & not be tempted0
