I am feeling positively virtuous now with the fact that I managed to resist buying anything to eat at the garage when I filled up with petrol, it is normally a big draw for me, the crisps in particular whilst i am standing there at the till.

This is exactly why I always use Pay at Pump!! :rotfl:

    Hi all

Well a last minute spur of the moment thing took me to a SW group today. The group were really nice and I didn't need to worry about feeding as it's right next to a breastfeeding friendly library that has a lovely comfy feeding area so fed there before the group so I didn't have any distractions (also much easier to feed on a comfy sofa than a plastic chair without arms).

Consultant didn't have a membership card thing to get my pin for online so he's going to text it to me. I still have my slimming in pregnancy leaflet which has the breastfeeding info but he's getting me one of those too. He's asked me to start on EE and eat at least every three hours which works with the feeding! He suggested I wait a month to buy food directory as it's being updated, but sadly they no longer sell shop to slim :(

Does anyone notice their appetite has decreased since SW? Mine has. My problem was always portion control as was taught to finish everything on my plate so feel bad if I leave anything. Teaching myself that it is okay to leave some food if I am full.

    My day EE

    2XAlpen lights (HE)

    2 satsumas

Lunch-Home made dhal. Syns came from tablespoon of oil but since it's split into 8 portions and I had one Ill give myself one syn?!
    2 chapati's cooked without fat @ 3syns for 28g so given myself 6 syns as had 2.

Tea-SW spagetti bol with wholewheat pasta and some veg

Usually have more fruit and veg but can't face eating much today so figured one day off won't kill me. Got some plums and passion fruit to nibble on.

    Quick tip:
I have noticed in the past on this thread that people find fruit and veg expensive, especially when we have to eat so much of it so I always go to the local market near closing time on a Saturday and can come home with 2 plastic bags full of fruit and veg for less than a fiver. Also continental supermarkets tend to have very cheap fruit and veg too.

Just popping in to say hello to everyone.. well done to all the losers.
I was a bit disappointed with my last WI - gained 0.5lb - but I know I've had a few too many syns over the past week :p.
Really plan to give it 100% from tomorrow.
We had to place a Christmas wish on a tree at class on Monday, and mine is to lose 10lbs by Christmas - which I believe is very achievable. I just have to stick to plan :D
  • Evening everyone

I've read that the weetabix oaty bars are an heb, but is it one bar or two? Thanks :)

I know it's easier said than done but please don't fret about it as it could just be water weight or item of clothing etc. I lose and put on several pounds a day depending on time of day and what I've eaten. Have you tried seeing if you have lost any inches? My clothed are getting looser but my weight isn't dropping off quickly. By going on clothing I don't feel too upset if I've not lost much. X
