    stayed the same this week, at least it's not a gain but my losses seem to be tapering out. I am within a stone of target though, consultant said i should try express for a day this week and see if it kicks me back into weight loss, also keeping a diary again which is a habit i got out of.

    anyone ever used a hot choc options drink but made it with milk ?
    not had any HEA today but don't fancy it on its own
    or i could syn some cocoa i suppose ??

    Before SW I often use to make the instant choc drinks with milk or half and half. Being lazy, I used to microwave half/mug of milk then stir in the powder. It sometimes floats a bit but not for long. I do the same now with any HE milk left and coffee.

    I get angry when I don't lose much, looking at your losses in your sig, you are the same as me. Do you have a lot to lose? if you don't then that can explain slow loss too. I've noticed my face has got thinner and that's where I put weight on, waist is also smaller and have had a few people comment on that. I am a size 12, 10.10 stone and 5'4 so only looking to lose a stone, think that's why it's slow. Also my boobs probably weigh alot!;)

    we must be twins Dalia, you have the exact same stats as me!

    Cor, that sounds lovely (apart from the meat, I am a vegetarian). I am going to steal some of your ideas for a meal at the weekend. Let me know how the recipes work out.
    Today is better not discussed. It was open evening at school, so didn't get home til 9.45pm. Gave in to the staff buffet after school
    Starting afresh tomorrow...

    It was fab, thanks Liz. I did the lamb, veg and chickpeas with chilli, lemon, garlic, onion, cumin, tinned toms and a bit of cinnamon. It was really rich and a bit spicy.
    I cooked the carrot in cumin and coriander and water then added sweetcorn, spring onions, and canned green lentils. It was a lot lighter than the lamb dish, and quite vege-tasting. really nice.
    I made consultant31's hummus and also some mint dip with garlic, mint leaves and fat free fromage frais.
    and then fried some chopped up cooked potatoes in paprika and served it all in little bowls to help yourself.
    it was SO yummy, and OH was reaallly impressed!! :D

    lindsay - i am fairly sure porridge is a HEB and if you dont have scan bran (available in health food shops) you can prob substitute a wholegrain ryvita. Best to ask a consultant though - in fact i bet our resident expert consultant31 can help when she logs on.

    Green day for me today:
    HEA1 = milk in cereal and tea
    HEA2 = cheese in dinner
    HEB1= cereal + 1 ryvita
    HEB2 = 3 ryvita

    1 clementine, 28g frosted wheats and skim milk
    spanish omelette - egg, potato, onion, various vegetables
    2 plums
    ryvita with leftover mint dip and hummus
    lbn's leek cannelloni (just going to sprinkle cheese on top rather than make the white sauce tho - save on HEAs/syns)

    Lunch - will make a chunky veg soup

    Dinner - pasta with bacon (HEB) lots of mushrooms and peas with a little ff fromage frais stired in and topped with a little cheese (HEA)

    Snakcs - will have a hifi bar after lunch (HEB) and I have been saving a dime bar for after weigh in tonight, plus the usual fruit and yoghurt

    hope you all have a good day
