I get angry when I don't lose much, looking at your losses in your sig, you are the same as me. Do you have a lot to lose? if you don't then that can explain slow loss too. I've noticed my face has got thinner and that's where I put weight on, waist is also smaller and have had a few people comment on that. I am a size 12, 10.10 stone and 5'4 so only looking to lose a stone, think that's why it's slow. Also my boobs probably weigh alot!;)
Thanks Dalia, I don't have that much to lose, but am aiming for about one and a half stone...0 -
Hello all,
Week 2 WI today and I lost 1lb (hooray!) last week I sts so I think this is going to be a long slow journey........
Feel a bit envious of some of your starting losses but with my positive hat on, at least a 1 lb loss over two weeks is better than a gain.
I have to say that now I have got over the bloated bunged up feeling I had last week I am feeling great - much more energy and no headaches - I really hope my new eating plan is going to suit me long term.
Keep up with the inspiring posts everyone,
GG0 -

Anyone got any SW friendly faves from Lidl???
I don't drive but can walk to Lidls.....
Apart from fruit and veg, anything I should look out for there?
Bearing in mind I will have to stagger home carrying it
Lost 1.5lbs last night, VERY pleased as I had a very bad few days last week (emotional eating)
Back on track from yesterday though :j0 -
Hello everyone, I've been away for a few days, School has started again and I am sooo out of practise at lesson planning it is taking me for ever at the moment... but I'll get quicker now I know my students actual levels of English rather than what the class level suggests
Glad to see people are liking my suggestion of the coconut essence Thai green curries. Minimins is a wonderful place to get ideas. Yes ebay is the easiest place to get the essence and cheap too, it's where i got mine from. My OH loves Thai curries so he was super pleased when we had it for tea last week and keeps asking for more :rotfl:
I'm still on track with my experiment of no bread. it is WI tomorrow and I know I will have a pleasing result. I keep peeking on the scales and the numbers are making me happy at the moment so I can't blow it today :rotfl:
I think being out the house too is helping plus the walking to and from school.
Today.. Green
B - Mushroom & onion omelette (1.5) put some butter in it.
L - No sure... pasta of some kind (F)
D - Salmon (B) stirfry (F) and rice (F)
Snx - Ryvita x 4 (B) cheese triangles x 2 (A)
That's it. I seem to have been eating less too this week and suprisingly not been hungry... I'm sure that will change though :rotfl:
Have a good day everyone... and well done to the losers :T:T:T"People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0 -

Why Put Off Until Tomorrow What You Can Do Today? :A0 -
So it is the taster tonight and I am really badly organised. I need to get something I can cook in 20 minutes. What about this...
Line a fry-lighted muffin tray with 2 layers of wafer thin ham per cup
Whisk together 4 eggs in a jug (with a splash of milk if using HeA) with 1/2 a tub of quark, chopped chives and a bit of lemon zest if you have them and a healthy dusting of pepper
Mix in 1/2 a pack of smoked salmon flakes
Pour into the muffin cups and bake in the oven until firm.
What do you think? I think that would be good buffet food and I can do that without too much fuss?God is good, all the time
Do something that scares you every day

Hi Susan 6780
Yes I could do that as I'm not planning to have any other meat/fish etc (red stuff) today.
The day is young though, things can change!

Last week i got 2 pots of options hot choc for £3 in lidl.
and a 6 pack of muller lights for £1 something
i think the muller offer has ended but they still have the options poster up outside the store so that should be on still.
they are also very good for cheaper fruit and veg as they tend to reduce a few a week. (got a pack of 4 leeks last week for 69p)
really loving the mince pie hifi!!:D
dont like the activia snack pots - find it too creamy:(0
