I know what you mean about Cauldron - their tofu is all mushy now and the packs are huge! I like the ones from the Chinese supermarket now as much firmer and smaller blocks. I find soya mince does not suit me but do like the Frys range of sausages/burgers.

Wilkinsons had cool bags if you have a store nearby or Lakeland had some on the reduced area last week. Maybe someone could lend you one for the week?

There is a Wilko here, not a Lakeland (though we have one coming soon!). I'll look in Wilko this week, thanks hun!

Re tofu, I'm gonna try the chinese supermarket next weekend. I miss not having tofu, I grew up eating it!

Whoever it was doing the cannelloni - natural cottage cheese & cooked spinach makes a fab filling ;) I did a ratatoille (sp?) type topping before which I wasn't sure about so have to work on that but the pasta was fab! X

It was me. Spinach would be great, will try that. I did a version of a recipe I found on line using leeks, garlic and lemon plus ricotta (I subbed quark). A basic tomato sauce and some white sauce with HEA cheese. Very nice.

I think I might do a basic tomato sauce next tome but was trying to add lots of superfree veg! Trouble is I always want garlic bread with a meal like that!

I love tofu - starts so plain but you can really jazz it up! It makes a nice cheesecake too but I can't go there now!

The Chinese shop in Birmingham sells 3 blocks for £1.35 but its in a tub with water so the only time I got that I ended up with a very flooded shopping bag:rotfl:I buy their individual packs for 89p. I also love the Dragonfly brand from smaller health shops or Pauls tofu - plain or smoked.

I ignore the results of the last food intollerance test I had done - said Im intolerant to soya:eek:

I hope Wilko have some left - pity you are not by me as I have a collection of different sized lunch and coolbags!

SW dilema! Need advice super quick. I need to get a train from milton keynes to glasgow tomorrow, trip will take about 7 hours and I'm looking for SW friendly things to eat en route.

On the way down I had a small cool bag with nibbles in but as I'm staying at a hotel I'm very limited in what I can pack for the return journey.

All I have in terms of places to buy food is a sainsburys, and whatever there is at MK central train station.

I'll need lunch and snacks. Stopping at Crewe station for 45 mins and change again at Edinburgh.

Think hubby is coming down with my cold, this is a bad thing as it always goes to his chest. Last couple of times hes ended up in hospital with pneumonia so fingers crossed he doesn't get it this time :o

Have a big breakfast at hotel. Buy some laughing cow trinagles and a wholemeal roll and some ham and make a sandwich (use the LC instead of butter) with some plastic cutlery - usually for sale in the station supermarkets. Take a cereal bar and fruit for snacks. Maybe at Crewe you will be able to get some hot free food?
