Thanks Mrs M, yes galaxy do ripple, it was 13g bar. My book says 9 so if can't find it I will go with that.
Thanks all. I have the 2008/9 food directory and some things have changed syns so to be on the safe side I have been asking for checks. Its a shame we can't access the syn calculator without the password but then sw wouldn't make any money lolIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Help! Have made a veggie chilli for tea but its way too hot!
Is there a way to cool it down?
Cant add much to it as need it to be syn free and am vegan so think Im stuck there? Could try soya yoghurt but it might curdle?
Might have to think of something else to cook but am low on vege now til shopping and not going out in the rain!
Any ideas?
Why not just put a dollop of ice cold yog on the side when you deal out the meal, then scoop a little yog up with each spoonful, I do that anyway and it's lovely. Like having cucumber raita with a hot curry, same principle.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

Well not such a good week or good weekend but have been planning my green week while dh working on my car. All easy quick & cheap free meals - breakfast rice, savoury rice, penne with hm tom sauce or bbeans/cheese, egg beans & sw chips0

actually, some lovely cold salad served alongside your chilli, and a big glass of water, would also help to chill peoples' tongues if it really is too hot.
Push comes to shove, just brace yourself and swallow. At least you'll be pain free for a coupla days as chilli is a painkiller!:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

I weigh in tomorrow morning at home - this will be my second week on EE. I will have to get out and have a long walk before it's dark because I haven't had my exercise today. Did a 5 mile bike ride yesterday, not too far as have had sciatica recently, but it's better than nothing.;)
Please keep your fingers crossed for me everyone!0 -

I think home made tomato sauce on pasta is the BEST and just about the cheapest meal too, mmmmm (I add chilli to that too; is it you that's the chilli fan, Catt, Ican't remember?)
Right, I'm supposed to be going out and I keep putting it off by sitting here ..... must galvanise myself.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

Hey everyone!
I'm going to my first meeting on Tuesday - I'm new to SW but am really excited about starting! I'm going with a friend who has done it before, so feel lucky to have her support and knowledge too!
I've been reading previous threads so have got the basics, and know the syn values of foods I eat regularly. I'm going to start off on Red and Green days and go from there.
Just making the most of my last day and have a huge roast cooking as we speak!
Looking forward to posting more regularly, have a good week.
