Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
Fluterby - If I'm on my travels I tend to take some soya yoghurts, and with access to a fridge Id take tofu - easy way to add protein to a meal, if you eat quorn could take that? Id also take some of the veggie mock meats like the wafter thin ham style slices - they can jazz up cous cous etc...lots of fruit would be good.

I'd take a cool bag - keep re freezing ice blocks or small water bottles - try to keep things cool in your room? or a small coolbag with 'Don't touch' on it!

Would the kitchen staff be prepared if you ask in advance to microwave you quorn ready meals, and do you a jacket potato or rice and vege to go with it? I find if it's a sealed ready meal places will cook them but not homemade food due to all the food hygiene regs.

Im vegan and tend to ring ahead to ask about meals to suit.

Have you got a microwave or use of one? The microwave pouches of rice and quinoa are good.

If your joining in with activities you will burn up extra cals, I work with 16-18 year olds with learning difficulties in a College - non stop days! With being vegan I have to be prepared and take my food, now Im on SW Im having to take a larger cool bag as I seem to eat so much food on SW:rotfl:

Happy Birthday Lynz! Hope you have a great day.
I am sitting here in my running kit, but it is soooooo horrible outside! I am such a weakling. The kids are sitting on the sofa under a quilt and we are all watching Airplane! Might have to relent and put the central heating on....!
    Green for me today.
    HEA: Milk for tea/coffee
Brunch: quorn sausages, onions, oven cooked with WM toast.
    Snack: Fibre plus bar (HEB)
Dinner: I was going to do Aloo Gobi and spinach dahl, with plain rice, but OH has just told me he has a gig, so don't feel like cooking for one! Will try and come up with something I can have with the kids.
Need to eat more fruit, but it doesn't seem so attractive in this weather.
