why dont i look at the best before dates on things when i buy them!?!?!
not only have my strawberries and raspberries gone to mush but i have loads of food in the fridge that is best before yesterday or today!
i tihnk i need to cook up 2 chicken breasts, half a pack of bacon, giant stir fry pack and a loads of veg that is on the edge!!
so i think that will be chicken stir fry tonight with all the green veg picked out of the stir fry pack.
then i will make up some cous cous and chuck in left over chicken and bacon. then the more 'cold friendly' veg from the stir fry pack like carrot and baby sweetcorn. and that will be lunch and or dinner after weigh in.
thing is - then i wont have anything to cook with for the rest of the week lol0 -

Hea - skimmed milk. Fruit and WW yogurt when Asda bring them!

thanks for the recipe consultant - I will keep an eye out for butternut squash in lidl, as i recall they are quite cheap there.
Was wondering when soup recipes call for low fat yoghurt, could I use fromage frais instead?? thanks
Just made my carrot and lentil spicy soup again - it's extra spicy today as i used a whole chilli! Added some chickpeas too, really lovely flavour.Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

Righty-ho ....to hopefully save you time and money...- when you do the roast chicken dinner -the carcass etc will make "old fashioned chicken soup" for lunches (I have a recipe)
- when you do the mash -do extra to make the cheese n potato pie (or use the middles from the "potato skins" )
- ooh and if you double up when making the cheese n potato pie it freezes well -and can be shaped into cakes and frozen for busy days
- I do the buffalo chicken using sliced breasts (the recipe is wings)(oohh and I also do it with sliced pork fillet too) -if you have leftovers they are nice cold
- the curried pork patties are nice cold too and if you make the mixture up when you get the pork mince -you can shape them and freeze raw so you can do a quick dinner
oohh and ladies -shout up if I have dropped a clanger anywhere-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
