Cumble - ooooh! Can't think of a way to keep the syns down as cooked fruit is synned. As for the custard, I love the vanilla fat free yogurt so would have that instead.

I made the hummous, used consultant31's recipe then added a teaspoon of sesame oil (must check syns, possibly two?). It is DELICIOUS!! One of our favourite meals used to be homemade hummus with loads of salad in a pitta with potato wedges on the side. Can do that now, syn one pitta (or can I have one wholemeal one as a HEB? It isn't on the list on the website, but I am sure I read somewhere that was possible?).
My stevia arrived today, will try it out tomorrow (can I come up with a fruit crumble idea? Have lots of fruit in the freezer and cooking apples coming on the tree) as I am going out for a meal tonight. Here is the menu:
    http://www.burstoncrown.com/menu.php?menuid=4
Reckon I will ask for a salad for starters, then have the squash and spinach tagine. Pudding: eek! May try to have none, or at least a fruit salad type one. Difficult to think of a SW friendly one! I will be driving, so will stick to spring water all night. Any advice for restaurant puds ladies?
    Have a good day everyone,
    Liz x
I usually go for a fruit salad if it's on but if you ring before you go most restaurants are very good and will put one together for you. Otherwise a meringue based pud is not too bad - pavlova (as long as you don't eat ALL the cream)

    Have a lovely evening. x

Stewed fruit can be used as HEB! :) So I think this is definately possible, I love apple crumble it is literally my favourite-ist hot pudding ever.

I usually cant fit in a pud in a resturaunt LB so im no help to you on that front. Sorry!

I have saved my HE's today so far so, am thinking I can use my A for milk in the custard and syn the custard powder, then have a HEB of the stewed fruit, will weigh it out, use the other HEB as porriage oats to go on the topping then Il need to syn some flour and butter and a little sugar. I think if I make a main one for dh and the kids then I can make mine in a seperate little dish so I can weigh everything arrgh more complicated than I thought but Im thinking it will be worth it

Its my birthday tomorrow so I am having the day off :) and am going here http://www.pingpongdimsum.com/

until then I will try and be good :D

ooh lynz pingpong is lovely. Def a good idea to take the day off for it tho, it's not SW at all! Have you been there before?? you have to order quite a bit to get a decent amount of dinner, so it's usually good to order one round of food then another. I wld reccomend the chicken and coconut rice pot, the chicken and cashew dumplings and the pork char sui buns. yum. ok now i am jealous!!!! oh and the vanilla and lemon cocktail is sooo good!
    have a lovely birthday :)
Hi Betty! I feel like a policeman now :rotfl:no, I give in, you are having your superfree! Bad news is, lentils are not superfree. They are simply free on EE and green.

I've just had a most yummy breakfast of defrosted raspberries, melon and a Shape Zero mango yog, I could have eaten it all over again! Funny how some tastes just seem to go together (it looked like a pile of pus in the bowl, mind  )

Hehe dont worry i really need a policeman to keep me on track sometimes! not a big deal about the lentils, they are sooo filling and i'll just make sure to add loads of sf veg to my soups too.

It's not looking good - at FILs this weekend and it's a minefield even if I bring some stuff of my own. Had ee cooked breakie before we left but no lunch, breaded salmon & chips for dinner (only veg is carrots as fil doesn't eat greens). Whole milk in tea & honey nut with whole milk for brekkie tomorow plus whiskey & wine by the gallon :(

LOL it is nice that you take the time to check up on us!

i am going to zizzi tonight. had a look at the menu and i think if i have spaghetti pomodoro (spag, tomato, basil and mozzerella) with a side salad then i should be ok.

will save my hea for the mozzerella but i think it will need to be synned too. you usually get given half a mozzerella ball - does anyone know how heavy that might be?!?!? :rotfl:

had a nice fry up for brunch mmmmmmmmmmm

just had a look on the website and it says on there its not a good one for food optimisers, there are recipes used stewed fruit and crushed biscuits for the top but thats not what i had in mind hmm may have to rethink this one :(

Another thought, grapenuts cereal works well as a crumble topping, EAT do a banana/yog/honey pot with grape nuts on the top.

Grape nuts are also a heb.....

Splenda do a brown sugar blend ( I got stacks of it for home baking when it was cheap at home bargains, also seen it recently in 99p stores)
as Im not homebaking, its packed away.....

I think Id use oats/ grapenuts as HEB and stewed fruit as syns as i think you get a bigger volume of stewed fruit as a HEB than oats IYSWIM. ...

Not that Im encouraging you of course but have you seen this, comes stacked with £10 credit, Im about to post it on shop but dont drop. I only saw it this morning, so when it comes it will do for the next time - Im loyal already ;) The prawn balls are amazing some new stuff on the menu too, looking forward to the lotus rice sticks :)

Yes, well Ill call it flexi, but lets face it I mean " day off". The vodka and lemongrass cocktail is really good as is the cachaca one.

So looking forward to it, the food is SO good.

    Hi everyone

I haven't posted for a couple of days as things just seem hectic atm, had a few appts for the kids and the younger ones just seem to have become a handful lately....one teething and the other just being a nuisance;)

Anyway, I have mostly stayed on track this week but have been a bit under the weather myself, so have scoffed a few sugary things that were NEEDED to give me a boost..... Will see what the scales say on Monday morning!

I was trying EE today and have messed up, I suppose I could change to a green day...can someone check and advise please...

B - banana, weetabix, milk (HEa + HEb)

L - Veg soup....onion, cauli, broccolli, carrots. AND baked potato with beans and cheese (HEa) here's where I messed up!!!

D - Chicken, mash, broccoli, green beans, sweetcorn, onion gravy.

As you can see I accidentally had two A's..... Should I change to green or syn the cheese/milk??

    Mel x
