Morning....(just) lol
Well Im going to attempt to have an EE day today.....and eat a little more than yesterday:o
Brekki was a nana & some grapes with an activia (no tum pain woohoo)
Ive just managed to have a 2nd late brekki/brunch of poached egg mushrooms, toms & a bit of bacon (washed down with gaviscon for good measure :rotfl:)
afternoon snack thing will be some Dyno-rod.....Im making all the right sounds IYKWIM- but no movementso Im hoping today will do it TMI??
Tea will be late ish as OH is in a golf comp but Im thinking it will be stew, with an extra portion of steam veg pack for me for the superfrees as ive got it all done in the freezer, so its nice and easy to just nuke in the micro when hes done & treat him to some Dumplings.
Im having a lazy day.... a bit of ironing and then gonna read some of my book that OH treat me to yesterday- Sophie kinsella 'mini shopaholic' I love her books.....this ones just started out as good as the others
Have a good & fairy free day all :A x0 -
Hi folks :j I've been MIA for the last couple of weeks. I'm back now and firing fully again
There is no way I can catch up on all the posts since my last visit so I'll just send love and hugs to all in case I've missed anything
I've managed to stay at the 1.5 stone loss I had before my absence so quite pleased with that. I have absolutely nothing SW friendly in the house though so a mega shop is required for this week.
I'll try and keep up now
Good luck all, K:xmastree:Merry Christmas0 -
good afternoon
Im making a rhubarb and apple crumble today so Im trying very hard to keep the syns down, Il work out how many it comes to when I have made it, oh and to make it worse were having it with custardHas anyone made a crumble slimming world friendly?
Going green today
bfast - pudding rice with a summer berries yoghurt and a banana
Lunch - Jacket potato and beans
Dinner - omlett with steamed veg, followed by fruit crumble and custard
Snacks will be more fruit during the day and Im keeping my HE's free until I make the crumble so can use HEA for the milk in custard and HEB's for the stewed fruit or some oats for the topping, Im not sure whats going to be the best way to do it0 -
Has anyone made a crumble slimming world friendly?
The only SLimming world friendly way I found when making apple & rhubarb crumbles (god I love them soooooo much) was to not eat them
I used to try say oh I'l just have a little spoon......never ever worked lol - it is the ultimate fairy food as far as im concerned (well that & cheesecake....or tiramisu with extra thick double cream) I can be such a pig when I get going :rotfl:

Does anyone know about rice noodles?
I think all the dried stuff is free......Its only the ones that come in the packs that go straight to wok (they have added oil if you look on the pack so theyre synned) its the same with rice....the packs for the micro usually have syns as they have a bit of oil in.0 -

just had a look on the website and it says on there its not a good one for food optimisers, there are recipes used stewed fruit and crushed biscuits for the top but thats not what i had in mind hmm may have to rethink this one0 -

LOL its that time of year....crumble & custard  I was thinking the same when I was planning doing dumplings for OH for tea with the stew......Im gonna have to sit with my back to him at the table while we eat
Stewed fruit & crushed biscuits just doesnt have quite the same effect does it0 -
Cumble - ooooh! Can't think of a way to keep the syns down as cooked fruit is synned. As for the custard, I love the vanilla fat free yogurt so would have that instead.
I made the hummous, used consultant31's recipe then added a teaspoon of sesame oil (must check syns, possibly two?). It is DELICIOUS!! One of our favourite meals used to be homemade hummus with loads of salad in a pitta with potato wedges on the side. Can do that now, syn one pitta (or can I have one wholemeal one as a HEB? It isn't on the list on the website, but I am sure I read somewhere that was possible?).
My stevia arrived today, will try it out tomorrow (can I come up with a fruit crumble idea? Have lots of fruit in the freezer and cooking apples coming on the tree) as I am going out for a meal tonight. Here is the menu:

Reckon I will ask for a salad for starters, then have the squash and spinach tagine. Pudding: eek! May try to have none, or at least a fruit salad type one. Difficult to think of a SW friendly one! I will be driving, so will stick to spring water all night. Any advice for restaurant puds ladies?
Have a good day everyone,
