Hello everyone
Ive just got up
Ive had a bad tum time since yesterday so just been catching up on broken sleep.
Went to WI last night.....didnt stay to group as I felt ropey (OH took me & waited) I had a rather disappointing 1/2 pound loss
I was hoping for a lot better as Ive had a good week :undecided
So my logical head is thinking one of a few possible things.......
1. last week I lost 3lb....more than my usual amount (maybe my body didnt want to give any more this week lol)
2. I had the barium meal the beginning of last week (sorry if this is TMI) but It worked far better than any Dyno rod at clearing any blockages when it reappeared ....did this upset the balance last week and give me a false loss?
3. Ive been struck with the tum prob for the day before WI and my eating & fluid intake because of the pain was pretty rubbish.....but would 1 and a half days make much difference??
what do you guys think?
Anyways......Im just slightly confused and hope things settle down so I can get back to eating better tomorrow. I do know that last week I ate more volume of food for definate as I wasnt in pain as much.
Off to have some Dyno Rod soup and some magic powders and watch the soaps tucked up in bedx x

Funny you should say that......OH asked if something had 'crawled up there and died'
Ive been threatened with being put out on the balcony to sleep :shocked:0 -

Ive been threatened with being put out on the balcony to sleep -- Im sure that if you are like me -even if hubby puts you on the balcony you will generate enough "warmth" to stop you freezing
Well done on the loss :T
I would think that you are right *of course I hear you say* that your meds and test recently have messed up your system -so that you aren't getting accurate readings every week -BUT the important thing is that overall your loss is still the same .. and what a good one too!!!!

Lots of lovely food ideas on here. I am having WM pizza (using 2xHEBs for base) topped with passata and veg roasted with frylight. That'll be when hubby gets back from the pub... so I may be waiting some time!
I will definitely be trying the hummus recipe tomorrow. I love hummus, if I can find a FREE hummus recipe I like I will be so happy!
Who was doing the couch to 5K programme? I have done it before and got as far as running 5K, but would need to start at the beginning again. DD is getting into running so might have a go with her tomorrow.
Have a great evening everyone!

Wasn't consultant's hummus recipe free a couple of pages back? Mine is free if you omit the spoonful of sesame oil but frankly I think that makes it fabulous! I blend a can of drained chickpeas (save some of the liquid in case you need it), few dollops of quark or plain ff yoghurt, couple of cloves of garlic, a little chilli and a spoonful of sesame oil. Mmmmm. I don't recommend going mad with it (ie, eating it all in two sittings) or you'll have the same probs as the Windy Women above!:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

Hi all, having a crazy Friday night here - been to Ikea and now watching Gardeners World, i'm only 25!!!
Today has been EE AGAIN:
Breakfast: Weetabix (heb), soya milk (hea) and 2 plums.
Snack: Grapes.
Lunch: Chicken Salad and Pineapple, Strawberries, Passion Fruit and Pomegranate.
Dinner: Chicken Stirfry, lots of veg and a co-op sauce (2.5 syns per serving) and 56g of noodles (1.0 syn) followed by melon and blackberries.
So both hea's had but only 3.5 syns so might have to increase that although i am stupidly stuffed still after dinner and feel ready for my bed - it's been a LONG week!
Big ((hugs)) to everyone and with ref to 'dynorod' soup i can't say it had any effect on my although delicious BUT after having a little portion with her biscuits the dog was banished from the bed last night much to her dismay!0
