what are the most restricting days then is it a red day, then green day, then EE days?

i just dont understand the order of them lol. i need to have a good first week (im starting monday) as i need motivating badly.

i would rather start on the hardest and work down lol.

    1) You dont need to do all sorts of days ( eg vegetarians would only do green anyway) if you like one, stick to it
    2) red and green both involve some sort of weighing (im not keen on that, feels more diet-y) and its not a diet, its a new way of eating IYSWIM
    3) if you are happy/able to eat 1.3rd of your food to be superfree each day, it can be expensive IMO, then EE is for you
    4) if you are a carb-junkie and need potatoes pasta noodles, unlimited rice, couscous etc then EE is for you
    5) if you want 2 lots of bread a day, then its green day ( IE syn meat or dont have it)
    6) YOu less superfree food on a green day we think ( ie not 1/3rd)
    7) personally find eating out or fround other peoples houses etc, EE is easiest

Lots to think about but really you need to think about the sort of foods you eat, and would want to continue to eat- long term
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

  • If you guys get any chance to pop into an asian supermarket (we have a great one called Pak's in Rotherham) I would recommend Psyllium husk in water in the morning. I have been having about 1/2 a tsp and if you have it with plenty of water it keeps evvverrryyyything moving along nicely :)
It was only about a pound for the box of it, it is beautifully quaint looking but very effective!

  • I have been following these posts off and on for a while now and I love them! you are all so encouraging and it's like being in group every day of the week (I hope all groups are as good as mine).
I lost 3 stone to get to target in December 08, did it in 10 months which was great as I had done EVERY diet before and always failed. Unfortunately I put a few pounds back on but didn't go back, thinking I could get it off and then go back without paying - BIG MISTAKE - it's taken me ages to get back to target and am just 2 lb off now. My WI is tomorrow night so fingers crossed.

Oooh you poor thing dizzyk, thinking of you.
LYNZ!! STEP AWAY FROM THE COOKIES!! Seriously though I hope you feeling better and a bit more in control.
Hi diva, it's not really as confusing as it first seems, like lynz says, work out what food is 'can't do without-able' and there will be a plan that will fit around that. We're all here to help in whatever way we can. I don't know an awful lot about WW but I know some people prefer that and others prefer SW I'm afraid it's just a case of seeing what works for you, hope that helps in some way.

    hi guys,

I am joining a SW group tonight. Having read your thread i think i will be on EE.
I just have a quick question to make sure it sw is the right diet for me.

ok i eat breakfast and lunch at my desk at work and have no access to a kitchen.
what kind of things could i eat for breakfast and lunch as i wont have time in the morning to cook anything?

good afternoon all! feeling a bit flat today although i really shouldn't, got a £115 rebate from scottish gas...

    welcome newbies!

Confused - good luck at WI tomorrow, let us know how you get on!!
Diva - i personally think that SW is a lot easier than WW, i find WW quite time consuming with point counting... i don't think any of the plans are 'hard' although red/green plans do involve weighing. you should try the extra easy meal planner on the SW website for a bit of inspiration - it's a great way to get a feel for the plan and know that nothing is restricted.

Hmmm, just as an aside I do mainly red days and I rarely weigh anything
Brekkie : fruit and yog or weetabix
Lunch : home made soup/ryvita/pagan krisp rolls topped with cottage cheese
Dinner :variations on meat and veg
Obviously have a few syns in there too but basics are there

Nothing to be weighed/measured there, just need to choose carefully, if thats any help, apart from milk for HEA which is measured on all plans.
