Hi - great to read everyones positive start to the week.
Sorry to hear about all the medical woes - hope all goes well.
Greenpixey - I grate carrot into mince 50/50 and it makes it go a lot further and makes it taste quite sweet too!
I tried butter buds and some thing else similar from the States and found them both very synthetic tasting. I'm with the OP and would rather syn real butter!
I had a great day at the races yesterday and met Peppa Pig and George - highlight! I didn't drink anything even though we had a lift and the afternoon tea was very good, but more or less all I ate all day so not too much damage done!
I have been to the gym and my achilles is getting a bit better but I still daren't run. I did 40 minutes cardio - 20 bike and 20 cross trainer, then about 40 minutes weights and toning. I really didn't want to go tonight as I was v tired, but knew if I went straight home I would lay on the settee feeling guilty:TI am glad I went anyway!
My food plan today is EE and went like this....
2 slices vogels seed toast, 1/2 tin of beans and dry fried egg.
Bean casserole thing (syn free), ham and 3 small nectarines.
tomatoes on the way to the gym
'look what we found' lamb casserole (1.5 syns) and tinned peas.
Activia fat free raspberry yoghurt (0.5 syns).
I could eat something 'nice' but am just deciding about a banana....
This has been a good day - lets hope I can make them all good this week!NO EXCUSES - THIS YEAR IT'S PERSONAL..........0 -
I like butter buds, a sachet lasts me approx 3 meals, maybe more, just sprinkled over
each to his own. I love real butter too and do sometimes syn some, depends on the use. I never ever ever ever touch "spread" - whatever that is. All I know is, it's grey - then yellow colouring is added to encourage people to eat it
:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

on a non-SW note, autumn feels like it's well on it's way. it's super windy and cold here, so glad to be nice and toasty in my house.

Hello everyone,
I am back from a lovely week away at Heacham and back at work now. I fell off the wagon big time, I won't go into details  but I am not hopeful about weigh in tomorrow, BUT I am determined to get back on track this week. The canteen at work does jacket spuds and beans and pots of fruit. I must see how many syns their yogurts are (Elm Hill/Farm). I also need to find a spot in the house for my freecycle cycle and get going on that.
Crisp£note, what a fabulous loss! You are an inspiration.
I will weigh in tomorrow. Hopefully happybunny86 will be joining me. Good luck any other Tuesday weighers!
