  • Thanks very much to everyone who said they get nervous too - it DID make me feel better! :D

Although I was shaking as I queued up to get on the scales :o

I lost 6lbs at my 1st weigh-in so I am very pleased as I went out for a meal and also to a party
    Excellent start, keep it up!
  • Today I have had

B - Low Cholesterol drink (Tesco Strawberry), Plum.

L - Dino Rod soup (chunky).

D - Dino Rod Soup (chunky) plus a rustic olive and sundried tomato roll (Tesco bakery) spread with Flora Pro Active Buttery.

Snack - Raspberries & Blueberries with a drizzle of runny honey.
1 large weak glass Tesco Cherries & Berries squash, 2 cups tea (Skimmed milk, no sugar) and a cup of hot water (to warm me up).

Are you not starving with that lot? It isnt very much food at all, no wonder you are miserable!

  • Hey everyone, I've been on plan the since the weekend which I'm happy about.

I start my new job tomorrow!! I'm also really nervous about how I'm going to fit the SW plan into my new lifestyle. I'll be working shifts (7-2 and 2-10) and it's care work so I'm sure it will be intense. I've planned ham sandwiches for lunch tomorrow but as for the rest of the day I have no clue!

I'll let you know how I get on :)

Hugs to those that are struggling and well done to the losers :)

    Hello everyone,

Things have been busy busy busy here and no idea when the last time was I came on. Suffice to say I know it hasn't been in the last week as I haven't posted since updating my signature last week!

Have had a good couple of weeks loss wise. Lost 4 last week which I was so thrilled about and another 1.5 today. Takes me to 2 stone 1 so today I got a 2 stone sticker, club ten sticker, slimmer of the week sticker from last week and then a slimmer of the month sticker (and fridge magnet). My weigh in book has been well and truly blinged up!!!!!

My roll making experiment worked perfectly. I used my usual wholemeal dough recipe for the breadmaker, then I weighed out the dough in 65g lumps, made it into rolls, they came out at 57g! So yummy. Smaller than you can buy really, but so much nicer and seem more substantial. I won't bother to weigh the dough next time, now I know that quantity of ingredients gives me 9 rolls of the right size I shall just do it by eye.
I have cooked up the pudding rice ready for tomorrow morning's breakfast. I have vanilla fat free yogurt and blueberries in so it should be yummy!

Thanks....I'm so glad the rolls worked out well:D

    :j:j:jWell Done:j:j:j

I think I will have a green day tomorrow....I had the last of my veggie soup today so i'm thinking weetabix and nana for brekkie, Chick pea Dahl for lunch, I might get some co-op pittas to have one with the dahl?? and maybe jacket potato cheese and beans for dinner. Need to get some syns in there too, so will have a think about what to have.....

    xx
  • Hello all - blimey 24 hours and 8 pages later .... I can barely remember what anyone's said! Congrats to losers (6 lb in first week, brilliant!) and yes I get nervous on WI day too, not so bad since I reached my target as now I have a bit of leeway and my bowels seem to realise this ;)

I have to agree that Crisp £ Note has perhaps not really grasped the plan; honestly I would suggest going to a class for at least one night, get the books and the talk.

Christmas party next week eh? What's everyone taking? Or is it only our group having a taster session too? I thought I'd take a bowl of chicken liver pate and some Co-op wholemeal pittas cut up, sprinkled with aromat and slow baked until crisp to dip into it. I would over-estimate the syns at 1 per scoop :T and it's christmas party food SW style!
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

Ok chinese might not be too bad but I think mine was :o I had mushroom chow mein but it came in a deeper dish than normal so was probably double the syns . I had 2 spoons of special fried rice + a couple of bits s/s chicken hong kong style [without batter] plus all the onion, peppers & pineapple in the sauce as hubby don't like them :o:o oh and 1 chip :p
Gonna flexi today and back on the wagon tomorrow. Must plan meals for when we get home from work, thats been the problem tonight. Trouble is I'm home 1st & had so much to do that food was last on list. :o:o:o:o:o
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
