And I am really nervous!
Ridiculous at my age, what do I think they will do to me if I don't lose? Stand me in the corner and slap my legs????
Please tell me I am not the only one dreading my weigh-in.....
Now, it's funny you should say that :rotfl::rotfl:I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Hello everyone,
Sorry not posted for a few days - life has been really busy.
In my first week of doing sw at home and its weigh in day for me tomorrow. I too am feeling really scared!!
Have really enjoyed my week food wise although I do seem to have consumed a LOT of fruit & veg. Was feeling good about possible weight loss this week but today am SO bloated.
Will keep going though because I have eaten so well this week
Wish me luck for tomorrow (Ifeel as if I'm going to need it!)

Well my EE day went out the window - didn't have time to cook bacon for brekkie this morning so had egg, beans & mushrooms instead!
Lunch was leftover veggie paella (again and still got another tub to go!) & a plum.
Dinner is still HM bacon cheeseburger (HEa & 2 x HEb) & SW chips
Had a kitkat earlier and will also have my roulade tonight - 11.5syns for the day.
Had a cracking headache this morning and lost my vision for about 45 mins or so which was scary when you're trying to work, albeit only on the computer
Just realised will have to WI a day early this weekend as going to be at FIL's on Sunday so have to be good to see a decent loss on Saturday! :A0 -

My ibs is the reason i finally bit the bullet and joined sw, it had gotten so bad that i was willing to try anything (takeiteazy - those tests and biopsies are not pleasant are they!)
and i must say - touch wood - so far i have not had it so bad. it is still there but not as bad as before and this is only after a couple of weeks so i am hopeful it will help me in the long term
funny thing is i was reffered to the hospital dieticians and my 1st appointment is in a couple of weeks. if it hadnt been such a long wait for the app i might not of bothered joining sw.
Tell me about it!! What made it worse for me was the consultant doing the biopsy was a parent at the school I work at. Bless him he did ask if I would prefer someone else to do it but as I was already undressed and as he was working on the opposite end to my face he wasn't likely to recognize me in the playground :rotfl:Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

what a fab idea, wouldnt have thought to do that, thanks :T
Been thinking about the rice pud, is it possible to make it with your daily milk? Also do you reckon it would work by making it without sweetner then just adding a spoonful of honey when its ready? I know that would then make it syned but Im another one who's non too keen on using too much sweetner
Im making the next one without sweetner - will add spoonful of my vegan honey type sweetner and syn it!I like the sound of the onion filo tartlet - could you give more info if you get a chance?
The thing I have always found really irritating about filo pastry is that it comes in a packet/roll of lots of layers, if you only need a few do you refreeze the rest? It always seems to end up cracking! I have been thinking about Christmas (sorry!) and I am planning to replace some of the pastry I would have used in the past for my meals (I am vegetarian) with filo. It will mean most of it will be free or free plus HEA. Of course, that doesn't cover the pudding etc but I am planning to work on that...!

Am thinking of filo dishes instead of my usual puff pastry en croute veggie Christmas mealsI just found this on one of the links provided above. I am going to try this to see if it will help with my free (green) breakfast search!
Sounds good thanks!Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.
