  • It's my 1st weigh-in tonight.

And I am really nervous! :o

Ridiculous at my age, what do I think they will do to me if I don't lose? Stand me in the corner and slap my legs???? ;)

Please tell me I am not the only one dreading my weigh-in.....

    hello folks,

I decided to follow advice on here and ate quite late last night to get my 3 meals in. Today I had breakfast at around 11am. I have realised that if I have alarms set on my phone to remind me to take meds I can set up alarms to tell me to eat!!

Alarms are all set now :)

Lunch was baked beans with 9g grated cheddar -2 syns

    3 x apples

Dinner will be chicken breast curry

Weigh in is Thursday so I need to try harder as I only lost 1lb last week. I have had to fasten my belt on the next hole so that is promising.

    Good luck for WI fozziebear

Is there any advice on how to make SW meals work for me but be adaptable and healthy to help DH gain weight? Such as what to do different in DHs chicken curry tonight so he doesn't lose any more.

When I made curry at the weekend, DH had a full size garlic and coriander nan at 17syns (he could have eaten two!) and I had a Tesco Healthy Living mini nan at 6 syns. He had lime pickle, I didn't. So I suppose DH having synful extras is one way of doing it!

I make SW meals but My OH eats other things along with it..... So if we were having a SW curry, he would have naan breads or chappatis and maybe some bhajis (More syns than I would allow myself)

If were having SW chilli we'll also have SW chips, Il have some salad....he will have garlic bread.

SYN free stew yesterday I took mine out then did dumplings in his half a pan.

Its quite easy really to do one main SW meal and just add things to it for the lucky one that doesnt want to lose weight. (make you sick tho dont they :mad: ;) )
  • Afternoon All,

Have given myself a royal kick up the bum and luckily i STS at WI yesterday - really thought i would have put on masses!

Now just need to kick myself into gear this week - lots of scan bran and speed foods this week!

We have a taster session next week as it will be 12 till xmas! Any suggestions for low syn food that can be made the night before and put in the fridge till needed?

Well done loosers & good luck to those still to weigh in x

Thanks for the ideas. I have some mango chutney in the fridge and I could easily make some naans to add to his meal. I have DB and DS3 here too so they can have some extras too.

I don't know why I didn't think of giving them syn heavy foods.

    Another question, please?

Can I mix EE and green meals or do I have to stick to one or the other? I used to do red and green meals mixed throughout the day. I can't remember what it was called. I know I can't have four HEs with the EE.
