I am a beginner too but-
If you are doing EE why not have some carbs with it?
What are you topping the cotage pie with?

But looks OK to how I follow it.

I am really struggling today.... I have managed to have a few cubes of chocolate fall into my mouth already:( I am having a visit from AF every 2wks and it is driving me mad now, I feel like I am fighting a losing battle with trying to lose weight because of it:(

I will try and fill myself up with dinner and avoid temptation but I feel really low, bloated and extremely tired atm.

no thats for the whole 158g box!
it is mostly rice with a little seaweed
there was about 6 small rolls that just had a bit of pepper or cucumber in the middle
then 2 big rolls, 1 with shreded beetroot and the other had abit of egg omlette and chives
a small bottle of soy sauce to put over it and some ginger which i dont eat.

very tasty and i think was less than £3.

That is a great tip! thanks a lot H007. I have been caught out a couple of times recently, but this is a great option I think, cant imagine the radish rolls I mentioned would be any more than this either :j :j

    Green day today;

    b - 2 bananas, clem
l - savoury rice, clem, pear
d - SW chips, frylight eggs and mushies

I'm just about to start on SW so maybe on here with lots of questions in coming weeks. I'm totally new to SW so a compete beginner. I'm keeping a list of questions for when I go to the class next week but thought I would pick brains on here too.
    Hope you don't mind.:o

I'm hoping to do EE and keep my syns for real treats rather than add to recipes. I've just been flicking through the books and... I'm confused.

As an example yoemma's recipe for today looks like it could be a syn-free EE day to me but I don't see any Healthy Extras. Is that because you don't need them on green or because you use a shorthand on the thread that takes them as read?
  • Hi
I am new to SW - loving it so far! Can I just check something though - my book says baked beans are super speed (SS) - so do they count as your 3rd superfree? I thought they did but reading above posts has made me doubt myself. Are superfree and super speed different? Also in say a chilli I use passata as the sauce - does that still count towards your 1/3 superfree if its cooked into a recipe?

TIA for anyone who can straighten me out!

Superfree foods are those that are bulky but have very few calories as a rule - think, cabbage, carrots, cauli etc.
Superspeed foods are those that help you stay full for longer because they have a lot of fibre or those that have fewer calories than similar items (for instance oysters are superspeed but prawns aren't because prawns contain a lot of cholesterol).

It is confusing but if you follow the lists in you FO book you'll soon get used to it :)
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
