ThanksHello,
Internet been playing silly bu**ers last 2 days... HAd WI on Weds eve, despite being saintly (yes, I evenm p[olished my halo) I only lost 1. How pants is that..... I knw that 1 a week is 52 a year and that is almost 3 stone but still. I feel it should have been more. :-(
So, I started again, fresh eyes and moved on. Here's to next week!!
Owl; 1lb a week is actually almost 4 stone in a year and it's a good weight loss. If you can keep it up every week, you should be pleased and proud of yourself. :T
Catt; Make up a sf jelly with just ½ the amount of water stated. When it's almost cool but not set, whisk a syn-free yoghurt or fromage frais into it. If you use an electric whisk it is better as it expands in volume to almost double making it very light and creamy. You end up with a huge bowlful of pud for around 2 synsI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
hiya,i make rice pudding with Splenda (free) and my milk allowance, chuck in a bit of nutmeg or cinnamon and you're away!! hope this helps xx
Sounds good thanks - think that will be a good weekend treat as I can use all my milk allowance for that as only use it for my cereal and will have the time for cooked breccy at weekends.
I've always been against artificial sweetners as I've personally thought they are bad for my health but equally the amount of higher fat/sugar foods I was eating before I joined SW were not good for me - losing weight will be:) so the odd bit of sweetner wont hurt to make the odd pud!Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

I wish there was a syn/fat free soya yoghurt out there! It's 2 syns for a small pot of fruity soya yoghurt:(
I have not thought of any fat free/syn free vegan puds as everything seems to have milk or gelatine in it.
Even vegan jelly has sugar in and I wont use artificial sweetners.
So only puds Im eating are fruit and soya yoghurt - need to see if I can think of a nice warming vegan pud that is only about 2 syns.
Anyone know if rice pudding homemade is really bad? I have ground rice in the cupboard and if I have a cooked breakfast at the weekend one day I would have my milk allowance as I dont drink tea/coffee. Wonder how many syns a portion of rice pud with soya milk and fresh berries would be?
hi hun someone correct me if i am wrong but pudding rice is free , ground rice is synful !!!!
the book says 28g is 5 syns

Good morning
I have decided to start SW today with the aim of losing 4st (13.5lb down to 9.5lb). I'm familiar with SW but that's all I'll say because this is a fresh start!
It's my parents 50th anniversay next August and I would love to have lost it by then - I think this is a realistic target/timescale (is it?) and the best motivation I can think of at the moment as I really need to focus on something to keep me in line.
So my first aim is to lose at least a stone by Xmas.
I will do mainly EE but today is a green day.
Br : pasta (I know, but this is what I have in today!)
L : Lettuce soup (2) and 2 x bread (2xheb) and 2tsp marg (4).
T : Lasagne (have to work out syns for this - mainly in white sauce) Cheese (hea), pots and veg.
Sk. milk (hea). More fruit - need to buy some!
Have a good day everybodyAugust Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -
Oh dear, yesterday was a bad day
:embarasse started off with good intentions but ended with takeaway pizza and desert . I felt truely awful afterwards (and my insides did). No idea why I had a binge on crap food
. Hopefully it is out of my system now and I won't do it again for awhile. I am going out for dinner tonight though, but to a local chinese. So I will have tofu (free) in black bean sauce with plain rice. Shouldn't be too bad, and will take car so no syns on alcohol.

Hey all,
Well lastnight I went out for my friend's birthday in Birmingham...I had planned for a flexible syn day as I wanted to enjoy myself. In the end I had 2 cocktails (it was called Emerald City and had vodka, kiwi, scnapps and apple juice in, yum!) and a bottle of WKD. That was it!
I had some chicken meat and chips on the way home, but overall I think I had a pretty decent night compared to how things could have been!
Today is back on plan, although I don't know exactly what I'm having lol.
Anyone have any ideas on the Syn value for a Costa hot chocolate?
