Hi Gadgetgirl, if you had all those vegetables in your chilli you probably DO have the right idea! see, you hadn't mentioned all those little bits. That's where I find the online diary useful, you don't enter completed dishes but the ingredients, so then it's easy to see all the lovely orange superfree food alongside a bit of green and a bit of red.
Jasper, it's the confusing names - superSPEED and superFREE are not the same thing; although quite a lot of superSPEED foods are also superFREE, baked beans aren't one of 'em. see pages 11 and 12 of your book for superfree, baked beans aren't listed there but some of the items listed do have the SS alongside for superspeed. Baked beans are entered under Free on page 14 (because they are free on Green, but not superfree because they are not free on Red).
Oh just tell me I am a nerd, I never thought I would take SW this seriously!
edit: I don't know about the passata.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

i've just worked out the caramel shape deserts 5 1/2 sins!! stopped eating half way through the pot. Hubby has chocolate and caramel deserts to eat now.save_up_ya_pennies wrote: »Do u mean the Delights one's I ate one yesterday oops lol I worked it out to be 3 but it just clicked that was for 100g pot - wally
Oh dear. I bought these today as they were £1.59 for 4 pack or 2 4packs for £1.50 in Sainsburys. I did work them out as approx 5 syns each in my head using the 20cal = 1 syn formula. To be honest I wasn't that impressed with the white choc one. I think they may be nice partially frozen so may try this.

hi,
back from holidays, i did decide to enjoy myself and not worry about what i was eating (had only been doing it a week anyway)
but for a laugh / torture i decided to come home and put what i ate on the online diary - was averaging 40-50 syns a day!!!!
and i thought i was good having only 1 scone and 1 fish & chips!!
back on plan 100% now though0 -
Lost 3.5lb at my first weigh in:T really pleased with a good start!
Next week the leader says I can whizz in at 7pm before I go to a 40th party - curry night.
Found out the old school gym the council shut has reopened run by the school and its only £18 a month and a miles walk away so might well join and go twice a week.
Might speed up my weight loss?Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

I have finally caught up on the thread after being away for a few weeks - being back at work has thrown me lol !
It has been a funny few weeks as on top of my arthritis playing me up a few days each week, I have had a chest infection so was on antibiotics, then I had my wisdon tooth out. On top of this it has been * weeks after only having one 3 weeks ago - usually I go 4 months between as on implant but think my body has had to much to fight with and other drugs on top of all my medication and steroids.........BUT I have been sticking to plan about 90% of time and have managed a loss each week - though still haven't had big losses it is coming off slowly - since started had -3 -0.5 -1.5 -2 and this week -1.5 so have achieved first half stone.
I am also managing a spinning class twice a week depending on good arthritis days and for 30 mins each it says I have burnt 400 calories roughly so hoping it helps as got 1st more to lose.
I need to up my water intake and get back to writing everything down....with that in mind plus the need to budget and save £ as well as lbs I have now done two weekly planners for Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner and Snack List and Syn List which I am going to rotate every other week - so I have the same lot of meals twice a month. I need to cut down how often I go in shops as end up buying more so going to stick to buying 3/4 different types of fruit to make last the week.
I do have one question though I use my HEB for weetabix in morning Mon-Fri with Fruit as convenient for work days - by having same every morning (I vary the fruit) will that hinder my loss. At weekends I am planning on things like egg, toms, mushrooms and quorn sausages or kippers. If I put my plans up can anyone point out good / bad points or cheap ideas to make better? Bearing in mind I only cook for myself as daughter who is 3 eats completely different things.
Sorry I think I have rambled lol :rotfl:0 -
Me again thought whilst here will post my plans - I know its nerdy (was going to put other word but not sure if allowed lol
) but along with this very MSE I have calculated all my income/outcomes and got a plan now together to pay off some debts and cut spending on things I can not justify as I want to be able to go on holiday soon or do up my flat but naughty habits getting my way and in my mouth lol (takeaways , choc prior to starting SW, mags, books, clothes, nights out lol
....not anymore I have plan so now have to implement it :rotfl:
Breakfasts
Mon - Friday = Weetabix (HEB) and Fruit with Tea
Sat / Sun = Eggs (Poached or Scrambled), Toms, Mushrooms, Quorn Sausages or Kippers
Lunch
Mon - Friday = HM Soup - (either Speed Soup or Butternut Squash and Ginger or Veg) which I cook on Sun night and find it gets me 3 days worth. The other 2 days I will make a batch of Pasta Salad or Cous Cous with lots of Super Frees
Sat/Sun = Sardines/Mackrel in Tom Sauce, Crackbread x 6 (HEB) with Salad or Chicken Salad with Fibre Plus Bar (HEB)
Dinners
Week 1- Chicken Stir Fry (lots of veg and dry noodles)
- Omellette (Ham, Tom, Mushrooms, Onions, Peppers) & Salad
- Jacket Potato, Beans & Salad
- Savoury Mince & Swede Mash & Green Beans (in SW Book)
- Chicken & Med Veg Bake with Rice
- Tuna & Spinach Pasta Bake (in SW Book)
- Cowboy Hotpot with Quorn Sausages with Savoy Cabbage
- Omellette (Ham, Tom, Mushrooms, Onions, Peppers) & Salad
- Jacket Potato, Beans & Salad
- Spag Bol (Mushrooms, Peppers, Onions, Courgettes, Tomatos)
- Prawn & Courgette Risotto
- Turkey, Brocoli & Pasta Gratin (in SW Book)
- Cottage Pie & Veg
- Bacon & Spinach Pasta
HEA = 250 ml Semi Skimmed Milk (for breakfast and Tea's)
HEB = Weetabix x 2 (Mon-Fri) / 6 x Crackbread or 1 x Fibre Plus Bar (Sat/Sun)
Snacks
Week 1 = Grapes / Strawberries / Watermelon
Week 2 = Pineapple / Apples / Bananas
Fat Free Yoghurts
Syns
I will use my syns mainly in the evenings with last cuppa for 2 x Funsize Bars and to cover any hidden syns when cooking (but I am using Frylight, VFF From Frais, Quark and I don't really like cheese, I don't add salt anyway, I swapped sugar on Weetabix for sweetner) plus the odd weekends I do go out syns will be used on those days for drinking.
Sorry for another long post but would appreciate thoughts on above, how I can aid weight loss without breaking the bank - ideally I don't want to spend more than £200 on food a month - I shop at Tescos or Asdas but get fruit from Lidls and frozen from Farm Foods - any hints, tips, advice, telling offs welcome...finised now I promise :T0 -

Day 3 on SW and another daft question
I am looking at HEB's on EE online and found:-
2 Ryvita Original/Dark Rye/Sesame
4 Ryvita Original/Dark Rye/Sesame
So double the quantity is the same HEB value???
I know it's no big deal and probably something to do with twice the fibre just goes through you more quicklybut does anyone know the proper reason?
BTW the reason I am asking is because I am a greedy whatsit and would rather have 4 of something if I can :rotfl:
Many thanks!
