  • Morning everyone

Yesterday I had a blip, whilst at my students house her mom came in with a slice of cheescake for me (about 8th of a standard cake)... so of course I couldn't be rude and refuse... it was sooo nice with a lovely blackberry sauce over the top. I have guestimated it at 14 syns (based on the average individual cheesecake on the syns list).... about right??

I managed 25 mins on the exercise bike too yesterday.

    Today (Green)
    B - 2 toast (B) butter (1.5) marmite (F) Coffee (F)
    L - Ham, salad couscous (3) Feta (A)
    Mid aft - fruit & yog (1)
D - Chickpea Massala (F) Maybe brown rice (F) SF Onion Bhaji (F) Raitia (F)
Even - if still hungry after that lot fruit & yog (1)

    Syns - 6.5 with 1 x A&B to use still.

Should go shopping for more food today but we'll see :)

Day 3 on SW and another daft question :o

I am looking at HEB's on EE online and found:-

    2 Ryvita Original/Dark Rye/Sesame
    4 Ryvita Original/Dark Rye/Sesame

So double the quantity is the same HEB value???

I know it's no big deal and probably something to do with twice the fibre just goes through you more quickly :D but does anyone know the proper reason?

BTW the reason I am asking is because I am a greedy whatsit and would rather have 4 of something if I can :rotfl:

    Many thanks!

i beleive if you only eat 2 they are classed as speed food but 4 just normal ?

  • I am a beginner too but-
If you are doing EE why not have some carbs with it?
What are you topping the cotage pie with?

But looks OK to how I follow it.

hi gang. sorry, i've been off the radar for a while trying to get my head sorted and been very busy with college. still keeping up with SW, not been to classes for 3 weeks as i just don't have the time to go but there's a new one opening up on Monday evenings from this coming Monday so will hopefully make that.

I am surprised to hear that Go Ahead bars (apple/sultana) have loads of syns - like how many please?

I am on Day 5 of EE and will weigh myself first thing Monday morning. I have had one of the cellophane packets of Go Aheads and have no idea what to put down for that. Other than that I'm doing OK.

Bought the latest SW mag and there's some nice recipes in there. Made the Chicken Jambalaya one evening for us all and another night the Salmon Burgers - both of which I really liked.
