    :TWoop! Well done you!! :T

Thanks for the explanation of the 1/3 superfree blackberry-rum, makes loads of sense :) I suppose people would just eat meat and carbs and not much else otherwise :o

Why not do as I do and plan 8 options for each meal and then just choose one each day - that way you always have a choice and are never in the position where you have to eat a particular meal!

that's a good idea - bit like flat eric's game. I think i'll do something similar but make a list of options and categorise each meal option by it's main ingredient (eg. pasta or couscous for example) and that way I can make sure i pick something that I have the ingredients for!!! Also i wont end up having pasta for both lunch and dinner in one day.

Hmm, will work on it tonight and let you know how this little 'project' goes! :D (I am such a geek!)

The bhajis were lovely by the way, a little dry but i think i need to add a whole egg even when i halve the recipe. Made four big bhajis and we had two each :D The beef dhansak was fab, and i added a teeny bit of coconut cream for that 'curryness' that i love and only 4 syns plus 3 more syns for a bit of mango chutney.
Total syns for the day = 10

WI was tonight and despite my night out and my bacardi binge on Sat night I lost 2 1/2 lb, so a total of 10 lb since 01 Sept when I joined.
Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.

    Well done you!!!
  • Hello folks,

WI tonight and I lost a measly 1/2 lb and that was the 1/2 I put on last week! Am finding it very frustrating trying to keep inside the target range. ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE?
  • Hi everyone.
BettyB - your signature makes me smile everytime I see it!
Had a sneaky WI this am ahead of tomorrow, and am on track for 3lbs! That makes 9 in 4 weeks - happy dance!
We are going to Cornwall on holiday for a week tomorrow - we will have computers with us so will try to check in if possible.
Hope everyone has a good week, and those going through stress have a better week.
New contact lenses are fab fab fab - can read stuff now which is a bonus! Don't need my funky reading glasses now!
    Hey ho

NO EXCUSES - THIS YEAR IT'S PERSONAL..........
  • Well done Wendyphant :j I am envious... just 2 stone 13.5lb to go for me :rotfl:

I lost a measly 0.5lb too this morning, I stuck to plan I only had 88 syns over the week too... but no exercise so perhaps that is the key for me now grrrr. But it is off rather than on. So concentrating on a bigger loss next week.

New allocation of 90 syns for this week

    Today (EE)
    B - 2 toast (B) Butter (1.5) Marmite (F)
    L - Mushroom Omelette (1.5)
    Mid aft - Nana & Yog (1)
    D - Pork casserole (F) Steamed Vegg (F)
    Even - Fruit & yog (1)
    A = milk in drinks.

    20 mins on exercise bike (2 x 10)

    xx

  • Congratulations Wendyphant, I can't wait until I get to target :j
That's a good idea Circes, it would make meals so much easier...

Managed to be quite good so far this week. Today I'm planning to have an EE day:

B: Shredded Wheat & 1 Scan bran (B) with skimmed milk (A), Pineapple and Kiwi.
L: Egg and New Potato Salad with Salad Dressing (3), FF Yogurt an apple and orange.
D: Wholewheat Pasta with Tuna and Broccoli in a Tomato & Chilli shop bought cooking sauce (4)

    That's 1 HEA + 1 HEB and 7 syns!!
