My 1st SW day goes like this:-
B - 2 x clementines & 2 x weetabix (heb)
L - 2 x nectarines & ham omelette
T - Chicken Stir Fry (no oil) - chicken, brown rice, onion, mushroom, red pepper, peas, corn (should be enough for 2,maybe 3 meals)
Snack - 2 x plums & maybe FF activia this evening (either Free or 1/2 syn depending on where I look)
Milk in endless cups of tea (been up since 2.30am  ) are hea + 4.5 syns
Looking at my SW books I think I am doing it okay, but cannot see how I'll lose weight if I eat this much.......
But at least I am eating a lot healthier than I have been lately!0 -
Argh! just realised i've only been synning creamed coconut by half!!
28g =9 syns, but one sachet =50g not 28g!!! so half of a sachet is nearly 9 syns!!!!
Hmm. I will have to only use half a sachet in a whole recipe from now on, so that half of my curry is 4.5 syns.
I can't have curry without a bit of coconut, it just makes it what it is!!!
Can't believe I didnt realise that!Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

My consultant said they are free now - the people at head office said they are to be free as long as you don't eat them like sweets! lol If you are only using them in sauces etc. i don't see a problem!
Nothing intresting to report today! Haven't eaten as regularly as normal as in meetings most of the day!
I am a little worried about Saturday Night - got a night out on the town planned! I do plan on getting drunk & will most probably do shots & diet coke & spirits but i reckon i will be well over my syn limit!
Hey ho, i reckon another stint on fast forward might be on the cards soon! Straight jacket here i come!
P.S. i have found a sugar free (syn free) mint sauce - think i found it in morrisons after alot of looking, but i can't remember if it is a morrisons own etc. All i know is that it was expensive compared to my ex SW days! (Value everything!)0 -

Phew - I'm craving sweets/choc like mad but no HEb's or syns yet today though HEb's will be taken care of wth dinner at Mom & Dads and a Fibre Plus bar later.
Am bribing myself to be good so I can have a breakfast sandwich at work on Friday otherwise I'll have to sit there smelling everyone elses and I'm NOT doing that! What do you think the best to go for is - bacon & egg on brown (I doubt they do wholemeal) with no butter & no sauce? I can always open it to cut the fat off? :drool:0 -
Evening everyone
Well done to the losers and the job getters :T
Bit annoyed at the moment, I was eating my dinner (soup) wishing so so hard that I could have bread with it. Now that I've finished, I've realised that I've unknowingly done a green day (only done EE before now) so I could have had an extra heb!:mad:
B - 2x alpen light (heb)
L - cheese and tomato omelette (hea)
D - spicy butternut squash soup
syns - will have twix and quavers later, making ten. I actually ended up having no syns at all yesterday, was quite impressed with myself!
also have another hea and heb to have, whooo. Will have babybel and a fibre plus bar
My WI tomorrow morning, so hoping all your mojo will rub off on me! I've really tried hard this week, so I hope for a loss.I have spread my dreams under your feet;

has anyone found the sugar free mint sauce ? i can only seem to find regular ones
silly question, but have you thought of making your own mint sauce, that was always the childrens job when I was a child & mum was preparing Sunday lunch. Mint grows unstoppably, even in a pot, just pick some leaves, chop 'em, add sweetener and vinegar. As far as I remember. One of your neighbours will doubtless have some mint she wants to get rid of ....:rotfl: it's very invasive:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!
