excellent! thanks. Will have one fab lolly for dessert tonight :)

Ok I have another question - how do you know whether to stick to 5, 10, or 15 syns, on average?
I have about a stone to lose so was wondering if i'd get there faster by limiting myself to 10 syns per day during the week, rather than 15?
    any thoughts???

Our consultant says to try to stick to 10 syns per day then if we make a mistake or forget to count something, hopefully we'll still be in.

I'm having an exciting day!!! They say things come in threes and they have today for me!!!

    1. I got a letter to tell me I've won £1000 on the works lottery
    2. I rang the vicar and booked the church for the wedding at lunchtime :-) May 7th will be the big day (or we can go for the Friday 6th if we decide we want to once we've looked at all the venues).
    3. OH has won an award at work. It's for the whole company including our european plants so thats brilliant! We don't know if he wins a prize yet but I'm dead proud of him!!

Haven't been on here for a few days (like, over 20 pages ago - can't catch up - sorry :()

Pants weekend. Had gorgeous pasty in town on Saturday - thoroughly enjoyed it and shared with DS3 (even gave him loads of the yummy thick edge of teh pasty) so I didn't feel guilty - was going to make it work in. Even changed my tortilla wraps for taco shells for my fajitas (it's a weekend tradition) and really enjoyed them. DH then nipped out to B&Q and came back with some mint choc sticks.... not so good.. very little willpower with these!

Sunday had a 2 syn (sausages) mega cooked brunch. DH then had a hissy fit over somethiong and we didn't speak for the rest of the day - so I took solace in some chocolate in the cupboard.... was telling myself not to whilst doing it - so only ate 1 & 2/3rd bars instead of 2!!! :o

Anyway, have been much better since and a positive :A today so am hoping that it should be ok tomorrow. Made a pan of (free) soup and have eaten it all... must make some more!:rotfl: (courgette and tomato - very yummy)

Will keep up with the thread again now and post daily - may keep me more on track! :D

    Hi everyone
So far so good. Been for a walk this morning with my friend again, reckon the route we are taking is about 2miles, so we are hoping to do that as often as poss to help shift the weight. I keep telling myself to get the wii fit out of an evening as well, but I'm just not listening.

Extra easy again today for me:
    B: 2weetabix + milk (F)
L: salmon, rice, celery, tomato, coffee (F)
D: maybe chilli, not sure as we are out collecting ebay win around teatime, so might just end up with beans on toast

Syns: depends on what I have for tea..

bettyB in my group we were told we are allowed the 15 a day, but most people I know aim for 10, and you at least know you've got a bit of leeway.

Hope everyone has a good day

  • Ooops I have just eaten this flat white bread roll thingy with what tasted like a pizza topping but looked like just cheese and bacon. I was STARVING at the shops and it jumped in the basket. An apple just wasn't doing it for me sorry :( . It was lovely though and left about 4 bites as there was no topping left on the bread.

Not exactly working it in but I won't have anymore bread today and use my 2 o/s HEB's on something healthier like prunes & chicken.

I am also unsure how many syns I should aim for each day.....I have been having between 10-15 as I have been losing on this amount, I tihnk once the weight loss becomes stagnant I will make sure to stick to about 10.

Asda chick pea dahl.....I had my first try today and loved it, I am going to give it a go of making it myself at some point:)

    Green today:D

B - Chewee bar (5.5syns......had no food in)
    then after shopping;)
    S - Apple
L - 1/2can chick pea dahl, Onken FF yoghurt with nice biccie crushed (2syns)
    S - Kiwi, nice biccie (2syns)
D - Big plate of SW chips with onion and mushroom gravy, cheese (heA), bread (heB).

Dizzy - I am glad you decided to be honest, and I definitely think you will be better going somewhere more local:)

Catt - Stick with it, you know it works:)

Big welcomes to all the new SW'rs.

    xx
