I've also spent many a fruitless hour trying to take out a contact lens that isn't in. That can lead to a sore eyeball. I don't think this is going to improve with weight loss.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

Made an unusual lunch for tomorrow, looks very brown but tastes nice!
Its quinoa - for once I seem to have mastered how to cook it ok! have added sweet chilli sauce - hot one so just a spoonful and going to have that with poached tofu!
I baked/poached a slab of tofu in foil in the oven with slices of peppers, onions, mushrooms and fresh ginger, plus some soya sauce.
Can I ask what tofu you use? I've been veggie all my life and grew up with Cauldron Tofu. But I don't like it now they have messed around with it. I have no idea where to get others from. I don't like the silken ones. I really miss my tofu, I'd have it like 3 times a week!

Morning all,
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for all the support - was very down yesterday but have come back and read all your posts and it really has picked me right up. You're a truly great bunch.
Well sticking to the plan 100% with my food and hitting the gym/pool 4 times last week saw me manage a 1.5lb loss yesterday amazingly - i think i may have scared my consultant when i burst into tears on seeing the weightloss but she was great as has my mum been who attends classes with me.
Well last night saw my first football game (lets not talk about the result!) since my epiphany and i managed on 1 glass of diet coke and a bovril at half time - amazing not to wake up the morning after feeling like death!
Today's plan is as follows:
Breakfast: Weetabix (HEB) and Soya milk (hea) and an apple.
Snack: Grapes.
Lunch: Leftovers from yesterday so SW Wedges with a SW sausage concoction known as cowboy casserole in our house. Followed by Mango, Pineapple, Strawberries and Raspberries.
Snack: Plums and 10 calorie cup-a-soup (0.5)
Dinner: Cottage Pie, Green Beans, Cauliflower and Sweetcorn. Will have fruit to follow - may just stick with melon as thats all we have in that i won't already of had today!
Snack: Pink and Whites x 2 (5 syns) and have a curly wurly in the freezer i might treat myself to
Well done on all the losses, *positive vibes* to all those that need/want them and MASSIVE HUGS for every single one of you lovely people x0 -

Not much to report today, feel a bit dull and boring so not sure what to do today. I have lessons later 4pm-6pm and the lessons are planned so nothing I NEED to do. Might see if there are any bargain Christmas presents I can buy as we plan to cut right back this year."People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0 -
Another green day for me;
B; egg & beans
s; yoghurt
l; pasta n sauce but my milk curdled so not sure if it's edible - will fnd out later!
d; surprise as it's at Mom & Dad's but likely to be meat/fish & three veg.
Talking of contacts I've put them in the wrong eyes before (slightly different prescriptions) and slept in them 3 times but not had a problem with that - just took them out in the morning instead, lol.0 -
MORNING!!!!!
i've just had porridge for the first time ever, now i shall see if its a HEB (ok everyone else has spotted my mistake,BUT i was curious)
its really ok! i shall see if it fills me longer as i'm back to work Friday and to go ages without food makes me want to eat eat eat and its free free free (as in no cost!) ( i work at McD for those that don't know)
WI should be today but i know that i have a gain,i might just weigh in anyway to keep a check on the 'damage'
no meal plan as yet, lots of SW friendly stuff in the house and in the freezer so will munch as i go,something with chicken for Dinner though so i can make soup tomorrow for Friday's Dinner
Good luck to those that need/want it0
