Do you mainly follow red/green or extra easy and what is your favourite plan ? what is your favourite sw meal ?
For those members who joined SW pre extra easy, how do you get on with EE ? how do you find only having one A and one B yet unlimited free green and red and do you find it hard work having that one third superfree ? any tips for an anti EE person ?!?!
what is your favourite way to spend your syns ?
what day/days do you find the hardest ?
what was your motivation for joining sw and how do you keep yourself motivated ?
Hey, i usually follow green days, but i do a few red days when i go out for dinners as i find it easier to find a SW friendly red meal!
Favourite plan is defo green days - favourite SW meal is quorn sausages, mash, beans & gravy..... or omelettes... or pasta dishes... or roast dinner... or quorn chilli... sorry can't choose a fav!
EE i find is good, but i do miss the flexibility of extra HE's, and because i do not eat alot of meat i would just stick to green days but i still try and maintain the principal of 1/3 superfree!
The only reason i find it hard to keep to 1/3 superfree is the cost - this is a MSE website afterall! Frozen brocolli & cauliflower & carrots are good value but after having it with every meal it can get boring!
Favourite way to spend syns is on... gravy to go with mash... mostly chocolate of some description ... rolos, cookie crumble, galaxy caramel, malteasers, buttons and dairy milk caramel put in the freezer are my favs (not all at once!)
I find red days hardest as i am a carb freak! So don't find them very filling and they are very expensive!
Motivation to join SW? Lightbulb moment! Dunno why i started but once i had my (now) husband said he would give me £500 if i could get into a size 18 pair of jeans and wear them for the whole weekend! I also then had the motivation of looking nice in my wedding dress!
Now my motivation is the little dress hanging in my wardrobe...when i fit into it properly DH is going to take me out for a meal somewhere nice so i can wear it out!
I think that answers the Q's!
I stayed the same this week  don't know why... i wanted to loose at least 3lbs to get back to my 4st award and to show the doctor that i can do it!
Luckily my doctor is ill atm and i have until 6th Oct to loose as much as poss so i can get another set of vouchers!
Shame my vouchers run out this week... but i still have a 6 week countdown that i won to use!
I won the raffle last night - huge bowl of huge tomatoes! (homegrown by one of the guys in class!) Q is ... what do i do with them...(i don't like raw tomatoes!) what can i cook with them?
Sorry to go on! :rotfl:
Well done to all 'loosers' and good luck to those still left to WI x0 -

You can chop them up and make a nice pasta sauce with them adding some herbs as you would with tin tomatoes... you may want to skin them 1st - just score the skin and pop them in a bowl of hot water for a short while and you will see the skin start to peel. It will slide off nicely when they are ready. Lots of people don't bother skinning though."People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0 -

Sorry but this post is gonna be a bit of a rant and might go some way to explaining me being awol for a while, can't talk to mates about it anymore after trying via facebook the other day and receiving no supportI need to sort myself out BIG TIME and i know it in myself but all my mates are just saying 'you're fine, there's nothing wrong' but i know in myself there is and i've spent the last 2 weeks fretting about it and rather then listening to myself i reverted back to type this weekend, ok - thats a massive ramble and makes no sense but heres the issue:
I drink way too much - not often - but massive binges and i can't seem to help myself and it isn't helping with the weight loss or indeed helping me save any money and is only succeeding in making me feel like an idiot
I put a status up on facebook saying i wanted/needed to change as i hate the way it makes me feel and also talked to a few 'friends' last night asking them to support me in no longer being billy big spuds after i've had a few drinks and paying for others to stay out with me when they were being sensible and wanting to go home at a reasonable hour and received support from ONE person so i guess i've seen who my real friends areand thats left my feeling even worse today then i did waking up Sunday at 5pm a having a 'lightbulb moment' and deciding this is when i change - and i'm changing for myself!
Sorry for the rant but i feel atm i have nowhere else to vent/ramble/waffle on without being told i'm being stupid.
Anyways, today is a new day and the start of a new me so hopefully you'll see me here more often as i take charge of my own life and do what's happy for me.
Thanks for listening ladies and gents, i'll be back later to update on food for the day and after tonights weigh in which i'm dreading following the weekends excesses
as previously posted on here..... you will get any support that you might need on here if you need it. which might even be easier for you as we are faceless names so you can rant, vent, scream.... do whatever you need to do to get through it all. Well done for realising you need to change a situation which is making you unhappy xxBecame Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Hmm as expected plan is being a bit odd today. dont feel like SW is very good when I'm tired as I crave carbs, but i've already had my HEB and I dont have anything to put on pasta (forgot to get quark on my last shopping trip). I just want comfort food tight now (tired, got a cold, and a bit of pms)
today is now looking like this:
Cereal, milk, ryvita, laughing cow, cups of tea (HEB and HEA)
diet coke
3 rich tea (3) and 2 mini toblerone (3)
No idea what to have for lunch
EDIT: I had a omelette with mushrooms and beans - 1 syn for a bit of flora i fried the mushrooms in.Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

Hi Guys
I am trying SW diet at home after not being very successfull at the other one!! I am still on page 24 trying to get inspiration (that I have found) and also get to learn what other difficulties other people have. My problem is that I am way to sociable, drink too much and love the wrong foods!! I exercise every day (hardcore stuff like spin, treadmill running, body attack and boxing) but at 12stone on a 5-4 frame there is room for improvement! Oh my DH has the fastest metabolism in the world so eats what he likes!!
So I would like to drop in every so often and post my kinda blog and see if I can stay on track this way... you all sound supportive x
This is day 2 and this is what I shall be having..Green
B= beans,egg,mushroom,tomato and 1 slice bread HEB1
snack nectarine and pear
L SW wedges, free quorn chilli, 28g cheese HEA a small side salad
Snack melon and grapes
T Not sure yet as have lots of ideas but fancy aloo gobi & rice
Snack maybe picked egg, yoghurt??
Am I on the right track please???
Shazzle x x0 -

I would, not sure if i have done it before or not, but there isn't anything in it that is not freezable so go for it!
I had it last night mixed in with noodles - i know it is a strange combo but i really enjoyed it!
