Oh no! Why did they change it? I can't make a choice between milk in my tea and my jacket-with-cheese lunch. Looks like it's back on the red/green for me. Gutted.

    I don't know :(

    Hi

I haven't read back yet, but will do shortly.

I am pleased to report a 1.5lb loss:j At least that cancels out last weeks gain..... I have had a green day today, we went out for lunch and I chose a lovely jacket potato with cheese and beans:D

I really need to menu plan before I go shopping tomorrow, but I am tired and still need to sort school clothes and bottles:cool: I might go to bed as soon as I have done them, and take my mags, I really want to try a few new dishes;)

Yes! Thank you. That used to be bloody free - how did it suddenly shoot to 11 syns :( Glad I didn't buy more than 1 can today - will have to have a quarter of a tin per day so it doesn't use up all my syns :(

Crumbs you lot can chat! Very busy tiring day for me today at school, and I have a theatre trip tomorrow night so will be back very very late.
WI tomorrow and I am not too hopeful. Got to get back into the habit of planning my days.
    Today (Green)
    semi skimmed for tea/coffee
B: Porridge with ff vanilla yogurt (part of HEB)
L: Left over spinach lasagne (was 6 syns for the lot, so 2 syns for my portion today?), fat free vanilla yogurt
Snack: Scan Bran part of HEB (they sure do taste like they are good for you!)
D: Wholemeal pasta with grated courgette, carrot, garlic, stir fried (teaspoon of olive oil so part of a HEB), zest and juice of a lemon added. Measured out 28g of Parmesan to grate on it as HEA but didn't use it all, probably about 10g worth.

I think I am going to have a chocolate options before bed as my syns are so low today.
    Tomorrow (Green)
    semi skimmed for tea/coffee
B: Porridge with ff vanilla yogurt (part of HEB)
L: Jacket potato and beans from canteen, ff raspberry yogurt
Snack: Scan Bran part of HEB
D: Yet more spinach lasagne - should be the end of it tomorrow. 2 syns

I need to come up with some vegetarian stir fry recipes. I used a sachet of stir fry sauce at the weekend, it was not worth the syns. Really sweet and yucky. I added garlic and chilli and that improved it, but I am sure I can come up with a better recipe. I have tofu in so could marinade it..... off to think.
    Good luck everyone.

The A$da chick pea dahl curry is FREE on green (and I guess extra easy) (i checked today as i had this for lunch). I remember seeing the Sainsburys one a while back and getting very excited - somewhere else that sold it ! I typed the calories into my phone and don't think I ever checked online but knew it was high in syns because I think I compared the calories to the stagg veg chilli on the same shelf which i knew was an ok eat and the calorie difference in the dahl was quite staggering so I left if on the shelf.

Depending how much milk you use in your tea/how many cups a day you drink, why not measure out half your milk and then weigh 14g of cheese, and split them that way? I don't think it's "legal" but as long as you don't cheat ......? and you could use low fat cheese and get 28g iyswim.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!
