    Good afternoon all

    Hello to the newbies
Well done on those losses ladies
AND -hugs to those needing one :grouphug:

OH YES SHE DID :j .... I made it to the Gym ..hubby dropped me off at 8am (even the PT instructor looked at me as if to say "are you mad woman?") :pand I had the gym to myself too:D and I did 30mins (2.5km) and then 1hr on the bike and did 26km (burnt 565clas) and then I walked home which took an hour -even though hubby saw me on my way off camp and offered me a lift home.. I was good and declined so thats me off to a start this week!
oohh ohhh and on the way home I stopped off at the naafi -and did something I very rarely do -I put €10 in the slot machine (I only usually play them when Im with hubby) and well I came out €100 better off than I went in -so thats a nice suprise for hubby when he gets in -will make a change for me to have winnings to share with him instead of the other way round :p -Im sticking my share in my "treat myself pot" -I have €425 in there now

My red meal plan for taoday is:-
    • 28g oats (B) + 1 crispbread *
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • banana
    • mixed berries
    • 6 plums
    • tuna -bashed with :-
    • quark
    • spring onion
    • gherkin
    • balsamic
    • with :-
    • 2 crispbread (1.5) + *
    • beetroot
    • peppers
    • 6 plums
    • 2 nectarines
    • 1 activia lemon (2.5)
    • roast chicken
    • homemade yorkshire pud (4.5)
    • swede
    • carrot
    • broccoli
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • 1tsp camp (0.5)
    • fibre plus (B)
So thats 2 A+Bs and 9syns - I will see if I need any more syns along the way.....I love red days and find them so straight forward -I guess it must be a case of what you are used to ... I can do mine now without looking at the books etc :j

Anyway -I will get off for now..have a lovely day everyone..

Afternoon:T Well done to the losers:T

Crispy that is a fab first loss:D

My losses are a bit tame in comparison!

    Doing a green day today-

Breakfast 2 x Weetabix with a banana and a FF Activia
    Snack Nectarine
Lunch Mug of Dyno Rod soup and a WM roll

Just finishing lunch now as i was too full from breakfast to eat earlier!

Dinner will be HM chilli and rice, will maybe put some cheese on as my 2nd HeA.

Anyone know the syns on HM chilli on a green day? Just a rough guestimate will do.

Am loving the soup, i put a big splash of worcester sauce in and its yummy, have put some in the freezer as i still had loads left and didnt want to waste it.

  • I'm back after having an unscheduled naughty week off :o Have put loads of lbs back on (ooh the shame) so won't be going to WI tonight.

    EE meal plan:
    B - strawbs, grapes, apple & mullerlight
L - victoria plums (nomnomnom) & HM soup
D - loaded potato skins (with mushy peas on the side??) followed by more victoria plums (nomnomnom)

Have a fibre plus bar for HEB & will probably have 28g cheese as my HEA in the potato skins. I'm not planning on having any syns today, but there's stuff I can have if I feel desperate. Having said that, the WW salt & vinegar hoops I bought are rank *spit spit* so won't be having any of them!!

Well done to all the losers - some brilliant losses :T

hey lynz, i'm feeling okay. still sad but having to just get on with things. i'm so disappointed in myself for the way i've been eating (indians, kebabs, ice cream, wine!) but at least i know that it has to stop... and now! :) hope you're well?? x

Yes thanks hun xx have had a hospital appointment this morning for them to look at my hand and its not good they are going to try one more steroid injection to see where we go so I have to go back in on Friday for that and the anastethic ( bet im not allowed to eat first, have to check that one!)

I am a bit wobbly emotionally about my hand as basically they said its got a cyst in it (??) from the damage that has been caused to my hand and its sending everytihng out of synk plus tensonivitis (sp?) basically means the tubes for the tendons to run through are all still inflamed even with this massive amount of rest that I have had with it ( very little lifting & carrying and no driving etc) a year later and its not really any better

Is a bit scary but Ok. I did feel the need for syns when I came out of the hospital as I was just peed off but I got a second alpen lite fudge flavour and it made it a bit better.

I wouldnt blame you at all for what youve eaten over the last week or so. Isnt it so amazing how food/ emotions are so linked The minute I feel down or stressed only a packet of biscuits or crisps can really lift me. Obviously it doesnt make sense, rationally, does it?
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Hi to all, newbie here. Just found this great thread and I have a query if anyone can give advice?

I am looking to start SW this week, but can't decide whether to go to a local group or do it online. If I go to a group, it means I have to take my 2 year old with me and I'm not sure she would have the patience to sit still for any great length of time, alternatively, my willpower is not great so I don't think I will stick to it so much if I do it online. Anyone with any words of wisdom please?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hr_monkey I would take your daughter along and go towards the later end of the weigh in. I can't imagine most people minding her being there and you could bring some toys or something along.

Well look how big this thread is already!
I went home to my parents over the weekend and had bread overload! Everything else was pretty good but I think that has made me a little bloated :(. I had a lovely time. Went into Lakeland and looked at the butter buds but for £4 for 40 it seemed too expensive for my liking so I resisted.
Had couscous for brekkie and just had a jacket potato and beans and salad for lunch. Have 2 carrots, an apple and a red pepper to snack on this afternoon, mmm. I have low fat sausages in fridge that need cooking by today so think I will cook them all and take them in for lunch for the week too, delish! :)

Well done to all the losers :D
