  • Morning all,

Today is a new day, and a new week.
I’m going for 100% SW this week :D.

My Red plan for today is:

    B: 28g Porridge & 1 Scan Bran (B); 250ml Semi Skimmed Milk (A) and a Banana
L: Tuna Salad with dressing (3)
    D: Beef with 198g New Potatoes (B), Roasted Veg; 1tsp Oil (2)

Snacks: FF Yogurt, Orange and an Apple

    That’s 1 A + 2 B’s and 5 syns

I’ve decided it might be a good idea to save a few extra syns for the weekend – that’s when I normally feel like something sweet!! Does anyone else do this? Or do you ‘use them or lose them’?
  • W I week 3 -

    :j LOST another 2 lb :T

 And all without no exercise (been sat on the sofa all week :o)

Now looking for insperation for this weeks dinners and exercise (might get the Wii out and set up the Carol Vordermans Active Health on the DS :rotfl: ).

Well done everyone for the losses, keep at it to those who STS or no losses and HUGZ to those who need them :D

Thanks everybody for the continuing support, much appreciated! :)
Failure is only someone elses judgement.
Without change there would be no butterflies.
If its important to you, you'll find a way - if not, you'll find an excuse ! ~ Easy to say when you take money out of the equation!
  • I LOVE jacket potato - could have them every day........with lashings of butter!!
Any suggestions on something MOIST I could use instead?

I love jacket spuds too. I tend to have cheese (HEA) and LF coleslaw, it's 3.5syns for 100g portion which is quite good.

Or I top it with syn free veggie chilli (you can have meat chilli too), my HEA cheese allowance, and sometimes a tablespoon of sour crea, (1.5syns)

I do 'use them or lose them' cos I found that otherwise I was saving up syns for weekend, then having silly food on weekend that went way over my syns for the week. I'm finding the use it or lose it way works for me.

Well done you! I have done no exercise this week (other than laserzone and walking) cos I had a cold so didn't want to go to gym. It's my week off this week so hoping to get to gym a few times.

  • Good afternoon all ...

Well done on the losses again ladies :j

Thankyou so much for the lovely comments and congratulations :p - yesterday was a very :D day... this is the furthest I have got -well, I may have lost about this much on WW many moons ago -but that was done by starving and binging myself :o .... this time its nice n steady and no great dramas -so far
    GG -I have PM'd you -thankyou :D
DizzyK - I hope your appointment goes nice n calmly for you - NO Yak causing tests etc. It will be nice for you to get some respite from all the prodding n poking you go through :T
Squeakie - Im a "use em or lose em" gal .... but I know a lot of people count their syns as a weekly total, I just don't do that as I know it would lead to me overeating some days and then having to go without for the rest of the week :o (something I went through with WW and their points system)

I was at the gym for 8am this morning I did :-
    • 30mins on the treadmill
    • 30mins on the bike
    • 15 mins on the handbike *I will NOT be left with bingo wings*
    • 15mins on the eliptical trainer thingy..
Then I started to walk home -stopping off at the naafi for and ipodshuffle thingy -where hubby caught up with me and drove me home :p. Twas a good thing too as he went on the machine again and won €160 :j -so my ipod didn't have to come out of the money in my "treat me fund" -hubby got it me as a "well done" for sticking with it and keeping going :kisses3:

so then my [STRIKE]shopping list[/STRIKE] I mean Green meal plan for today is.... are you ready?
    • 28g oats (B) **
    • 125ml semi (1/2 A)
    • raspberries

    • 28g oats(B) **
    • 125ml semi (1/2 A)
    • raspberries
    • 12 speed soup -*dumdumdum* -hubby has been warned
    • 2 ryvitta **
    • 1 laughing cow light (1.5)
    • Potatoes wedged in:-
    • 1/4tsp oil (0.5)
    • 1 egg fried in
    • 1/4tsp oil (0.5)
    • baked beans
    • SNACKIES:-
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • 1tsp camp (0.5)
    • 1 apple
    • 1 nectarine
    • 4 plums
    • 1 crunch yoghurt (4)
    • activia yoghurt (2.5)
so then that comes out at 2A+Bs and 9.5syns ..
Now its not a typo -Im had porridge at about 7am before I went to the gym and then I had it again when I got back about 10:30am giggle.gif.... I figure its a good way to use my Bs early and you can never have too much porridge biggrin.gif

Right I had better get off and catch up..have a lovely day everyone and keep up the great work :T

  • Hi, I have a quick question about Slimming World. I'm getting married next year and want to lose a little bit of weight. I'm not overweight, the most I would want to lose is about 10lbs. Is Slimming World likely to work for me? It seems like you get to eat loads! I usually use Rosemary Conley if I need to lose a few pounds and it does work but I've head loads about Slimming World and fancy trying it.
  • Thanks flutterbyuk25 and MRSMCAWBER, I'm worried saving up my syns might lead me to overeating at the weekend, so it might not be a good idea.

Silly question MRSMCAWBER, but how do you make your wedges??

it works hun,it will work for you too,as you only have 10lbs to lose you might find that it will be slower than someone that has masses of weight to lose,(but what do i know i just 'do' it?) ;)
