Pennylane - I am 49 and officially in the pre menopause stage, and untill I started doing EE days 3 weeks ago I hadn't lost weight for 5 years even though I tried everything! I eat healthily, go to the gym 2-3 times a week with a trainer, and have sorted out my binge tendencies with the help of a hypnotherapist!
I hate to say I've been there and done it all, but you can't get into my wardrobe for the been there T shirts!
I have had various hormone things including the mirena coil (which was a bit of a disaster for me), and I tried the Serenity progesterone cream, which was awful too.
I am loving EE, and go back a few pages for the dynorod soup recipe - I'm sure that is the secret to my 6lbs in 3 weeks :j:j (I am so pleased with that as I expect to lose slower with my age etc).
I would say try to do EE days, and keep up with all the other stuff and you HAVE to lose weight. I thought I wouldn't and here I am as a cheer leader now!:A
Good luck, and join in with this group, they are fab:T:T
BTW - have just dropped off great niece after a lovely but knackering day! Trip to Designer outlet, play park, made pizza and buns, did Fairy fuzzy felt, peppa pig sticker book, and printed some pictures from York Races with Lacie ACTUALLY with Peppa pig and George (her brother if you didn't know!) Am now having 5 minutes before I start to pack some stuff for our hols in Cornwall next Friday!
Not having had kids, we are always amazed how tiring it is just keeping them in your eye line all day!

Gadgetgirlone -I love doing SW on-line, you have a diary/meal planner to fill in and access to the syns on line and syn calculator etc... it makes it nice n quick to plan your food for the day.
Can I be cheeky-IF you decide to join on-line would you let one of the On-line ladies on here recomend you? it doesn't cost you anything, all you do is give the other person your name and email address -they send it to the SW site and then they will e-mail you and ask if you want to join ... when you do, the person who recomended you gets 1 extra months membership free :T ..... Greent joined the other day and she did this for me
... so it would be lovely if we could pass it along *Im a cheeky moo aren't I*
Right I think that is me for now... have a lovely day everyone....[/QUOTE]
Mrs M - not cheeky at all - your fab posts and amazing progress are part of the reason I want to do this. Let me know what I need to do and I would be really pleased for you to get an extra month free - but now I'm being cheeky - can I count on you as my mentor?

When I did my online grocery order from Waitrose I accidentally ordered a spray bottle of balsamic vinegar instead of just balsamic vinegar. Irritating, but it is actually fab! I have sprayed it on corn on the cob, runner beans. It gives a bit of richness. I think I can just refill it once it is all used up.

Well as predicted didn't lose a jot for my first week after
my binge on Wednesday but in a positive note I haven't gained anything either. Went shopping with dh this afternoon and because I didn't have time for brekkie we stopped for lunch at an Italian. Nearly went all out but felt very virtuous ordering the seafood salad. I ate the seafood but the leaves were bitter & inedible. Complained & they said they'd had a similar complaint earlier - but had continued to sell it:mad: so I went hungrynow if dh had been in the same situation I would have insisted that we find something he could have but he didn't. got home and went to put the oven on for dinner but dh said he wasn't hungry so I did the ironing while he relaxed. Sorry to say this built up inside me & I screamed at him when he asked when 'I' wanted dinner. I'm so sick of his selfishness- everything we do revolves around what he wants & noone gives a crap about me.
Anyway, sorry for rant
l; few bits of mixed seafood
d; turkey, roast pots, asparagus and carrots, sf orange squash
syns; winewinewine

Ha! Skinny lattes all round if, no when I get to my target!
Am going to go with the on line thing - I really can't go to a group. Will wait to hear from Mrs M to find out how to claim her extra month & will then get going.
Hope that crunchie is still in its wrapper!

Morning all
Trying a red day after loads of EE, did G on Friday... read something here about making your body guess what it's getting:):)
So
Breakfast: Bacon, egg, tomatoes, mushroom, 2 asda sausages (2), raspberries and natural yogurt (Yeo Valley FF)
Lunch: Yogurt (activia vanilla), Hi fi (HEB) (didn't need much after mammouth brekkie!!)
Tea: Roast beef, 8oz roast spuds (HEB), runner beans, carrots, swede, roast onion, butternut squash?, Broccoli, Gravy (1), Yorkie (1)
If I still have space I have another A to go and most of my syns......
Does this sound all right? Not done red for yonks..... Back to EE tomorrow....
Owl x
PS - LOving this thread, so much motivation, such good folk and a giggle to boot!!
Just one comment - unless you only had 1 bite of your yorkie I think you need to count a few more syns. I had a small one yesterday and have allowed 6 or 7 syns for it.0
