Flat Eric - I hope to take my own advice too - I've procrastinated long enough - I can make a list twice as long as yours for reasons to lose weight but I just don't seem to be able to do it! Grrrrrr
So frustrating as I know how wonderful SW is seeing as you never need to go hungry, can make pretty much anything SW acceptable and still have wine, choc etc so why do I find it so hard?! I really want to start going to the gym (doing some classes more than the actual gym stuff) but I'm too scared to go on my ownGoing to try and convince hubby to come swimming with me (harpoon anyone?) one night this week as he's home for once, then after that I may be able to go alone. I bought some BEAUTIFUL clothes today (must have been in a confident mood as normally I try something on, it looks awful so I give up shopping) and not only want to do them proud & look good but I know they'll also fit a) if I lose weight and b) if I get pregant (lovely floaty tops to hide my expanding tummy - not through baby yet though! :rotfl: )
Sorry rambling now!

Welcome Flat Eric - you know what to do and with the help of the ladies on here you WILL do it. Start NOW!!!! All the best x0

Morning all
Hi Flat Eric - I too remember you from the past threads, good luck!
Well after yesterday's food festival syn binge I will be back on track today. I am going to Ikea with a friend. Going to have a big free breakfast before we go. We will probably have lunch out so I'll either have salad in Ikea or find a pub for a jacket spud and beans. I'm going to try have a low syn day as I do my WI's on Mondays. I'm not expecting to lose this week (I may even gain) as I've had one flexi day, one off plan night and yesterday :rotfl:but I'm just gonna get right back on the wagon.
Have great days all

Ladies,
I'm feeling very inspired from reading your posts - you are all so supportive and are doing so well. I would really like to lose some weight but am not sure I could face attending a group. Can anyone explain how online membership works & how easy it is to stay motivated and to keep on track?
I need to do this for me so can anyone give me a shove in the right direction?
GG
Can anyone help?
Mrs M?
Consultant?

i did SW a while ago and only use my old books and support here, have you done SW before? we could help you? how much do you know? thats a silly question cos if you knew how much you didn't know you'd know it all?so the question i should be asking is,have you done SW before? if not you only need to attend 1 week to get the books and then we'll all help from there?

Morning all, just nipped online to see if I won the rollover lotto (no). Flateric, I remember you from before, and your last line in your first post says it all: You need to do this for you. Don't put a pic of "someone you admire" on your fridge, put a pic of you at the size you want to be .... and keep thinking of it! And anyone who expects to be cooked for by you has to eat the same as you and shut up! It's so easy with extra easy (ok apart from the drinking: I've put a tiny nail-polish line on my favourite wine glass at 175 ml so I know when to stop pouring) - good luck all, and happy Sunday.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

morning everyone!
Urgh PMT monster has taken over today.. its 10am and I've had 6.5 syns already! With everything going on atm i can't seem to stop comfort eating... BAD BAD BAD! Right, deep breaths.....
B - 28g ready brek (heb) with chopped banana and milk (hea) Choc digestive biscuit (4) (at least i stopped at one!) Cup of tea
E - Mug of white choc options (2.5) - nice and sweet to keep the sugar cravings at bay
L - was gonna have a go at cous cous frittas today (just gotta find recipe) which i shall have with salad and fruitfollowed by a ryvita sesame (2nd part of heb) topped with quark mixed with something (dunno what yet lol)
Popping back to edit - have now had an oatie biscuit (3) 1 syns worth of chilli sauce with my frittas, handful of tortilla chips (3) Making my syns now 13.5! Geez how am i gonna get through the rest of the day! We dont have any fruit in and i have no money to buy it til thursday! WHY AM I SO DAMN HUNGRY!! lol.
D - HM chinese. Going to make a veggie chow mein (oodles and ooodles of noodles!) packed with courgette, mushrooms, pepper, carrot and any other veg i find knocking about that will go lol; sweet n sour sauce (8 syns for jar so 2 syns each as will go 4 ways), turkey nuggets (2syns each) and the rest of the quorn chicken style nuggets (0.5syn each). I might pack out the chow mein by using up some frozen quorn chunks too... failing that or i will cook my 1/5th of the SnS sauce with the quorn in it to give me SnS quorn.. mmmm decisions
Edit - ended up having 5 turkey nuggets  10 syns right there!!along with 3 quorn ones (only had 4 of these left!) 1.5, plus 2 syns of SnS sauce And i've just eaten a pink and white 2.5 syns and some Greengages (at least these are free) Plus i added another 2 syns worth of sauce (will serve 4) to the chow mein so thats another 0.5 syn!! That means i have had a total of 28 syns and its not even 5pm! Thank God i'm back to work tomorrow as i cannot stop eating!
EDIT - cant do egg fried rice now as i have no rice! Bummer!!
... i bought some Frylight for Woks the other day.. cost me £2.39 - it better be bloody good!! EDIT - IT IS BLOODY GOOD!!! Gave my noodles a nice little boost! I have missed sesame oil so much! lol.All hail to the sale!!!!!!

Morning all,
Me n OH have sorted food and drink for centre parcs and i should be able to get away with having EE days while i'm away with plenty of free foods. Its my syns i'm struggling with. As we've already been shopping and got most of our stuff (we cant afford masses more so i couldn't justify getting low syn or special foods just for me) i'm probably gonna be averaging 20syns a day while we're away, but with all the walking and swimming i'm hoping it even itself out:o (i hope). Nearly died when i saw how many syns my cider has. Again we've already bought this (on offer with OH's larger), works out 12 syns a bottle:eek: so i'm thinking of getting a cheap bottle of diet lemonade and mixing it so one it goes further and 2 i wont be drinking oddles of syns every night. Does that sound ok?
Plus i'm on my hols so i'll be happy as larry if i STS, i normally gain 3-4lb while i'm on my jollys, then when we get back i can plan my shopping list accordingly.£387.39/£196.46
