ok here's the way i see it,and forgive me if i upset you or offend you,i tend to speak my mind and i mean no malice

i do SW because i want to get back to my skinny jeans,i've hiccupped for the last couple weeks but last week i got back on it,now if i want to be lumpy and hide myself under baggy clothes and avoid photo's then i will eat white bread toast with jam, chocolate bars, those yummy Sainsbury's choc eclairs,2 packets for £2,how can you avoid that? but i want to be sexy (in my head) in my jeans and boots not mumsy in my jog bottoms, although they are really fluffy, ;)
how i started back in was to buy in lots of stuff and meal plan, sounds easy and not at all rocket science and now i'm back on plan! its your choice, those eclairs are REALLY good, but are they worth the swishy-ness of you in your skinny jeans and boots? whats your ideal outfit when you are at target? put it at the front of your wardrobe,i keep trying mine on,i shall prolly wear them out without wearing them out (ha ha i am so funny, not!)
and stick around with us at the very least to tell us how you're doing?

This is so true... thank you! I've been trying to put my spending into perspective and have hopefully managed to do this now.... but it's too easy to eat that chocolate bar or eat some of those crisps. I'm going to stick a picture of someone whose figure I admire in my purse or on my phone so I can look at that and remember why I'm trying to be healthy!! (not dieting... being healthy!!!)

no, not at all, i welcome all your views. :j

I want to get back into my lovely oasis dress for my xmas party albeit I will be wearing it with jeans ! as it will be rather cold in december.

I want to be able to wear the lovely skirts I bought when I was a target member and not feel like the buttons are about to pop off .... or feel so uncomfortable in them that i can't wait to get them off again and put on my size 12/14 trousers....

I want to be able to look in the mirror and feel happy with the way I look.... and not cringe....

I want to be able to stand on the scales and see that they tell me that I am below target !

i want to weigh in at class below target and have to pay as a result !!!

I don't want to feel like a fraud any more when I hear how well other members are doing.

I want to be able to savour my syns again.

I want to be able to go into a shop similar to Ann Summer and buy myself some really nice underwear that I have seen.

I want to get myself back to target and feel rightly proud.

I will share my daily menus ! because then if I syn or fall off the wagon, then I will feel really bad at letting you all down. Im already talking myself into inviting my work colleague to the pub on Monday and having one last chilli...

its been a long day so I don't plan to work out my menu for next week now but will think about this tomorrow and will post then.

    thank you for your post.:j

I usually have the constitution of a donkey and very little bothers me as I have always eaten so much fibre... but this is past being ridiculous.... I just can't stop :o , hubby is threatening to take a duvet and sleep in the basement (apparently one floor between us won't be enough) -he did also threaten to shove me into the loft so we were further apart...but he daren't stand behind me :rotfl:

Fitorbust -OMG -I was going to see if hubby liked the soup too, but there is no way Im giving it him too I really don't think we could cope ... I swear if you look out of your windows you will see a toxic green cloud hovering over Germany:p
oohhh and fuzzyfelt -I used to collect those when I was little... I loved it...

Right -ole trumpet trousers is off to bed -wish us luck :rotfl:

Given my earlier post, I would be interested in hearing your views on the following.....

In my attempts to get back on the wagon recently, I have been starting the day well with my breakfast having the te$co natural yogurt that is free (proper name escapes me at this late hour) with fresh fruit and a HEB of muesli except the muesli has got rather confused in that Im not really sure whether it is a HEB or not. I have thrown the packaging away and I know the various mueslis have got mixed so Im not sure what is a HEB and whats not ! so I don't really want to waste 6 syns on breakfast especially if Im only going to be allowing myself 10 a day so do I ?

    (a) bin the cereal and buy muesli that I know is a heb option. If Im to turn things around I want to ensure that I am following the plan 100%. If im having cereal that Im not sure is a heb option then im sabotaging myself before I start. No-one else in my house will eat the muesli....

    (b) keep the muesli?

    what would you do ?

    in my other polls.
If I go to the pub on Monday lunchtime, what do I have ? Do I have one last chili or the healthy jacket potato option ?

how many syns should I allow myself?

can you share your extra easy menus ?
  • AND it's FAIRY fuzzy felt!:A:A

The green cloud is over here too - my hubby has actually slept in the spare room because of it:rotfl::rotfl:.

Ok personally I would not waste precious money on throwing perfectly food out. No it's probably not a HEb but how much damage is museli that doesn't have 'quite' enough fibre or a bit extra sugar in it going to do? I'd have a HEb measure of the museli (and count it as such) until it runs out and you can buy the one you know is a HEb.

Again, personal opinion there is no time like the present to get back on track so I'd got for the healthy jacket potato option. It's not as though you'll never eat chilli again - perfectly possible on EE and green (using quorn). I would use that as an excuse to eat anything I wanted to between now and then as I won't have started proporly - not a good way to go so start as you mean to go on now and that's an extra two days head start you have!

  • :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Mrs M - I was going to make it next week, but after reading your post out to dh I have now been banned from making it:o

    Flat eric -
Hello:) I remember you from 'the past' I am sorry you have been struggling, keep posting your menu's and chatting to us. I have only just come back too, after some time away, having babies!!!

I have over-synned today, but we are off to Alton towers tomorrow and will be eating junk all day....mainly because it is easier to take packaged junk food than anything else:cool:

Will weigh-in in the morning and report my loss/gain;)

    xx

yes you are right. :o I have become very mse and I don't think I could forgive myself if i threw away all the muesli just because it didn't tick all the right boxes.... I know I must watch my syns anyway so hopefully any syns that are in the muesli would be taken care of by my unused syns....

I also agree with your second point. start as I mean to go on. I have had far too many days where i decide to just have ??? because Im starting afresh tomorrow (except I don't). I shall take out one of my sw curries tomorrow morning and have that for my lunch on monday instead ! I will invite my friend to the pub on Thursday and will have my jacket spud then. I have found a nice recipe for chilli which I have converted to sw friendly so I think I need to make a bulk batch of that !! (served with sw chips, im laughing all the way to the bank) (excuse the pun !) :rotfl:
