  • Flat Eric - your week sound rather similar to mine (although I don't get out as much, most of the damage/large wine glasses etc is at home). It is funny how we can kid ourselves isn't it? I did SW years ago and lost two stone, so I know it works, but it is so easy to kid myself about it all. Writing it all down and posting it here really helps.
    Good luck!

Oh so true! I've lost 3.5 before but then I lived alone. With hubby now I can't turn down a glass of wine (or three) if he opens a bottle :(

Dizzy - I totally understand why but I think you should come clean. Lies always have a habit of catching up with us so best to tell the truth. Tell him how embarressed you would be if you were sick in someone elses car and had a siezure or collapsed in front of all those people. I'm sure he will understand. Good luck with whatever you decide x x

    Food today:
    B - weetabix milk [a] coffee
    L - supernoodles [7], apple
    T - quorn bol, mash, beans, t/sauce [1]

Just had this for dinner and it was scrumptious :T
Had a bad few days diet wise as been suffering with tooth pain from an infection in my gum :( It's starting to settle down a little so hopefully I can get back on track. Food has not been a priority while it was really bad and it showed with a gain at weigh in on Wednesday. I've been ok since but had green days as potatoes are easy and comforting ;)

Best wishes to all, K x

    Evening ladies

Dizzy -Im affraid that Im with the "tell him the truth" ladies on here...
Just imagine how he will fell when he finds out :o - little itty bitty lies like that can soon undermine trust in a relationship, it may make hime question everything else you say....
Just tell him -you put your slap on, got dressed and then got so worked up you didn't feel up to it..... at the end of the day you know what you are up to doing and I think you are right to take it at your own pace....

oohhh and ladies -OMG that dynorod soup as you are calling it -well it might not be affecting my "going to the loo" as I go 3 times a day anyway -but jeese I think hubby half wishes he had stayed on the ferry ..... Too much info I know but I have been like a 10 gun salute all day :rotfl:and it shows no signs of stopping *and I have 2.5lt of it to eat yet* :p ... Hubby says Im to "thank" whoever gave me the recipe -me thinks it is sarcasm :p.... if we could harness the power I could keep the street in electricity :o

  • I know what you mean about the soup - we both eat it and it is like the trumpet voluntary in our house at the moment!

Dizzy - I'm with the tell him group too - I'm sure he'll understand that after you got ready you had a wobble and lost confidence. He's been through so much with you, I'm sure he wants what is best for you.
He has probably been focussing on this as a big milestone and passed that feeling onto you.
:)Hope you've had a good night in front of the telly all dressed up! :)
Am getting stuff done tonight as I am having my 5 year old great niece tomorrow for the day. We are kinder free here, but a good auntie and uncle!
It's the first time we have done this alone as my sister (her Gran) is away on holiday and we promised her a day out. As the weather isnt too good I'm thinking making buns, going to the park, maybe a charlie and lola, and cheese sandwiches in white bread?I've also got some new books, a fuzzy felt and some singing dogs. I think we are all set!:j
    Hey ho.

I need your help. I have fallen off the SW wagon. SPECTACULARLY. here is my story....

I welcome your suggestions with interest ...

ok here's the way i see it,and forgive me if i upset you or offend you,i tend to speak my mind and i mean no malice

i do SW because i want to get back to my skinny jeans,i've hiccupped for the last couple weeks but last week i got back on it,now if i want to be lumpy and hide myself under baggy clothes and avoid photo's then i will eat white bread toast with jam, chocolate bars, those yummy Sainsbury's choc eclairs,2 packets for £2,how can you avoid that? but i want to be sexy (in my head) in my jeans and boots not mumsy in my jog bottoms, although they are really fluffy, ;)
how i started back in was to buy in lots of stuff and meal plan, sounds easy and not at all rocket science and now i'm back on plan! its your choice, those eclairs are REALLY good, but are they worth the swishy-ness of you in your skinny jeans and boots? whats your ideal outfit when you are at target? put it at the front of your wardrobe,i keep trying mine on,i shall prolly wear them out without wearing them out (ha ha i am so funny, not!)
and stick around with us at the very least to tell us how you're doing?
