Hi everyone
My bank charges £15.00 for every so many days I am over my business account overdraft. I did write to them but was told that it is not possible to claim these back.
Does anyone have experience of sucess with this
Thanks in advance0 -
Can you claim overdraft charges on Business accounts ? I have a saturday only business and accept credit cards . I am overdrawn on my account and everything i take from the credit card facility is swallowed up by the overdraft . In the mean time i am being charged for having an un authorised overdraft ( Only way of accepting credit card is by opening a business account ) I now cant pay supplies as cheques will be retuned unpaid . I cant actually use my account now . Does anyone have some advice ? Thanks0

I claimed on my business bank accounts
Both were Nat West and I claimed unauthorised overdraft charges, charges for paying when overdrawn and bounced cheques. Went through the same system as with a personal account and got everything I claimed without going to court.Unsecured debt 2008 c £45,000
Current unsecured debt February 2016 £1,734.85

Hello
Sorry wrong section0 -
In 2006 I was diagnosed with cancer and unable to work. Halifax Bank was informed of this I asked them to freeze interest, sent S.O.A etc. I was then £2,117 o/d. Numerous letters later I am £2,700 o/d due to interest charges. I have not used the account since 2006 and have no money going into it.
I have received demands for payment, Halifax representative calling at my home address and have now received a letter saying they are taking me to court to enable them to send bailiffs round
I owe money to other creditors who have been sympathetic, I am at my wits end as I do not know what to do. I am frightened that they will put a charging order on my home
Any help would be greatly appreciatedCarrie Cordery0 -

I am gonna ask someone I know to answer the question. I think yes but the FAQ;s here seem to indicate uncertainty in the matter.sandraroffey wrote: »can someone please point me in the direction of threads to do with claiming back charges from a business account?? it wasnt a big business, just small family run pub and i know that some time back i saw something on here to do with claiming back charges from a business account. cant seem to find it now though!! thanks for any help.0 -

Hi, can anyone tell me if i can reclaim the business overdraft review fee of £125.00 we pay for a £10,000.00 overdraft, i notice that in the bank charges section it says business charges are not covered but this is a one off annual fee for writing one letter to say ' yes you still have an overdraft facility of £10,000':mad:0

Certainly worth writing to request it back, the worst they can say is no but they could offer it back as a gesture of goodwill. worth a go!No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T0
