Business Account - reclaiming bank charges
Comments
-
My personal account and business account were with the same bank but with different branches I transferred my business account to another bank this time last year and have all bank statements for the business account.
I have downloaded letter for personal account to reclaim charges and have a parachute account in place.
Question Can I claim back charges on closed business account and if so is there a suitable template

You can use the same letter but please read the previous posts in this thread as there are a number of business charges that you can't claim.0

Does anyone know whether the reclaim of charges etc applies to small business and company accounts?0
-
Yes I'd like to know that, and with VAT (Customs & Excise) who charge you £ 400 when you are 1 day late on your VAT return. I don't think £ 400 is a realistic charge but they are a Govt dept so perhaps thet think they are above the law ?0
