I am glad it has worked out. You do have a benevolent employer after all.
    Debt free 4th April 2007.
New house. Bigger mortgage. MFWB after I have my buffer cash in place.
  • just want to take this opportunity to apologise for some remarks i made, not all, but some as you can imagine i have very stressed. I was short with some people and that was wrong of me so i just wanted to apologise for that.

    Thanks all
Rude people are a fact of life, if you wrestle with a pig you will stink! There's no getting around this concept. If you allow yourself to go someone's level you will only bring yourself down.
  • I am really glad that things worked out ok after all. Let us know how it all goes if you have time. Good luck

bendix, get a life. happened to look back thro your posts, all you actually do is sit online insulting people. I do feel sorry for you it must bad hard to be that sad and lonely.

Well - I was just wondering how to phrase that sentiment tactfully - But must admit I have yet to spot a comment by Bendix that is helpful and/or sympathetic to anyone - so I'm not quite sure why Bendix is posting in the circumstances.

Most of us have times where we disagree with someone - or someone starts making nasty personal comments at us and we lose our temper and "hand one back". But I don't really quite see it - about EVERY post a critical one....

The phrase "If you go into an interview like a cowering dog you're going to get whipped" has got to be a particularly bad one from a previous post - but they all seem to be much along the same (highly critical) lines.
  • update: arrived at work today to find an email from senior management apologising for this whole mess with leave and that i should have been given 3 days paid leave. at least i know now especially if this happens again in the future.

So Snr Management finally realise that their managers don't know how to manage or the rules that they are supposed to impose.

Well done, but watch out for any further bullying from this manager and make sure you address it as soon as it starts.
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.
  • That is great news stuck! :j At least you can get on with worrying about the important things now, not focussing on dealing with work issues! Do let us know how the op goes - I am sure that we will all be thinking of you.

What's your problem? Put me on ignore, instead of whining. It's very very simple.

This part of the forum is full of threads by people who have completely unrealistic expectations of what they should expect in the workplace, an environment - ironically - in which the balance is far too much in the employee's favour already.

A small reality check is useful. If people don't like reading a contrarian view, tough.
  • bendix: i think you are pathetic you add no value to any thread just insults. I dont need to put you on ignore i will tell it straight to you. especially as i reported you for insulting someone with mental health issues( funny the post got pulled straight away)

i suggest others do the same if you feel he is bullying and insulting people for no good reason

Can I report you for calling me pathetic?

Grow up. This is a debating forum. You are a classic MSEr; you only like responses that agree with you.

why its the truth, i reported you because you dont even have conversation you just jump right in there throw some abuse around then off to the next thread to do the same. As ive said before if you look at recent reviews of this site its rapidly going downhill because of people like you bendix, you dont even have a heated debate you are interested in one thing and that is abusing others so yeah i really think it is pathetic

P.S you are right bendix this is a debating forum, yet you do not debate just insult. I may have made some overly critical posts BUT i was debating and i was big enough to apologise for them afterwards !
