    I was commenting on the first part and not the second, managers can make mistakes but it doesn't mean they don't know how to manage, no one is perfect but as long as they learn and don't make the same mistakes then so be it

    to be clear was not the manager who made the decision who apologised, was actually her manger who sent the email
    Rude people are a fact of life, if you wrestle with a pig you will stink! There's no getting around this concept. If you allow yourself to go someone's level you will only bring yourself down.

    My sentence said that the managers don't know how to manage OR the rules that they are supposed to impose.

    Ergo; she was either not managing very well OR did not understand the rules.

    Either way, something was wrong if the rules stated that 3 days were allowable, and the manager was not allowing it.
