Complaints about V Festival

'Dear Mr Branson,
I attended your 'V' Festival the other day and when I turned up, it was in a field! I expected level cricket pitch or higher! And surely the food stalls could've managed silver service?'
Maybe you should just buy live dvds...........0 -
Yeah I was going to say that I didn't think V festival was anything to do with Virgin, I think they just sponser it. Complaining to them is the same as complaining to Barclays because you didn't like a premier league football match you went too. Like others have said though complaining to the organisers is a waste of your time as they won't do anything. V festival sells out in record numbers every year so they don't need to satisfy every customer and will probably just ignore your complaint, they're not going to refund you any money so I would just write off the whole experience and know in future that V festival isn't for you! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. also...the music was a tad loud at times and I'm sure some of it was out of tune...
lighten up or perhaps give more detail then you may get pointed in the right direction....
the above are actual facts as well....I'm now a retired teacher... hooray ...:j
Those who can do, those who can't, come to me for lessons:cool:0 -
Hang on how here. Some of you are displaying the standard British trait of 'put up with poor service because thats how it is'.
I'm perfectly aware of how things are at a festival. Obvious things are beyond they're control. Also aware of things that could, with a little more effort from the organisers, been much better. As a list :-
Toilets cleaned/emptied a bit more often,
Few more staff employed when people first arrive to avoid 3.5 hour queues (note, other car parks were fine - I picked a bad one),
Few more staff employed to manage traffic on the monday morning.
Yeh, they do sell out so they might not take my complaint too seriously. But if you all want to sit back and do nothing then thats up to you. If a few more people did complain they MIGHT sit up and take notice.0 -
Do some of you realise how sad you sound thinking its not acceptable to complain about things because its a 'festival' ?0

Next time you might want to try Henley Festival?

The reason people are having a snigger about this is because it's a bit like saying 'I went to a nightclub and the floor was sticky and it was overpriced and people were drunk'. Everyone has the same problem. I live in Reading - should I complain to Carling about the amount of filthy welly clad children trying to buy booze on my lunch break?
I love a good complaint but really? Queues and dirty loos?House saving Targets:

Sorry but you're falling into the standard trap of put up and shut up.
Yes, there are things that come as part of the 'experience'. But why shouldnt we complain when we pay good money and things could be better organised?
Thats the key, COULD BE BETTER !!!!!!! Yes, theres going to some amount of queing, and toliets aint gonna be great but with a little effort both of these could be BETTER !!!!
FYI, I'm told that both of these things are BETTER at places like Glastonbury. Not brilliant but BETTER.. So if they can make more of an effort why cant V Festival?
Although I dont know why I bother on this forum sometimes. Martin Lewis must be so proud of how friendly and helpful everyone is on here - NOT !!!!0 -

Maybe you should chill out a bit more? A quick scan of your posting history shows you to be a habitual moaner, but you rarely achieve any result from your moans. I'm all for constructive complaining, but moaning for the sake of it really does not get you far, as you have demonstrated previously.Gone ... or have I?0 -

Nope. Just complain when things are wrong.
Also, dont you think its a bit sad going back and searching my posting history. I find that a bit stalkerish to be honest.
