  • Thanks for the tips, Ill try and come up with some but after finding paperwork is missing (or not finding it as the case may be:o) the organising thing will come high on my list.

I've made a start by moving the shredder to the kitchen so that as soon as something comes in that I don't need to keep I can take off address etc, put OK bit in recycling and shred the rest. Instead of ending up with paper all over :D

All sounds good Buffy (similar aims to me) but please don't set the bar too high - you will get disheartened and give up!

Yes, I'd agree with this. The reason you beat yourself up so much (unnecessarily) is that you set yourself really tough challenges. Be kind to yourself and do things in bite size pieces (low cal of course :D) - *babysteps* is the key. Not trying to sound patronising - just I used to be the same and had to learn the hard way.

I do like the 100 day challenge - I might try and do that myself! Hope you're having a good weekend :) x
  • The rest of my 100 days post,

    7. Once I have assessed the food and exercise situation make a plan to improve both, bascially I am going along the lines of 5 pieces of fruit and vegetables and an exercise video? or one of my (many) walking programmes or or fitness dvds. I am not sure I could follow a specific diet or eating programme. We shall see what results the food diary brings.

    8. Use the conservatory for work.

9.Make enough extra money to buy a Wii and get the wii fit/sport package. Two of my friends have it, one was a gym bunny and now uses it instead and thinks it great and the other one has lost almost a stone since doing its daily programme. I shall start looking for the cheapest price, hope its on Amazon and get back on bingo port.

    10. Work on my MA each week.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Oh Buffy - I know. There is no way out of the marking/work nightmare except through - just try your best to start the marking earlier at night.

Take heart that there is an end in sight sweetie. I can't see any other options right now, especially with jobs being slashed. Hard not to feel really down about it. xxxx

Exactly, I used to think I could leave and work elsewhere but I don't think I fancy an academy so I am here maybe for longer I don't know...

It's tough at the moment I can't start until 7 or 8 with after school stuff and tutoring , I had thought about giving up tutoring but 1 I love it, and 2 it isn't going to there for ever so I think I should take the opportunity whilst I can. the extra money has and will continue to change my life.

right I am watching Wipeout and can't typing seriously, how don't people die or get seriously injured on this programme?:rotfl::rotfl:

I am supposed to be going out v late.

    best go!

    see you later xxx

  • Evening all

I fancy cocoa and bed but I have to pack for work tomorrow but before that I just want to write my weekend review - yes I have been taking lessons in sounding poncy!

Friday broke my neck to get to my friend's birthday and spent forty quid on the CC to pay for it plus 12 quid cab home. Saturday had a nice day really, did a little shopping and then went and met my friend. We ended up in the expensive restaurant and she insisted on paying,I paid some and now I owe her 20 quid (a total weekend spends of over 100 quid, I cannot sustain that) Plus thanks to the vagries of London underground they took 20 quid out of my bank account and I am now overdrawn....

Today I was rather stroppy and fed up(lots of lovely things are happened to my friends and I am very happy for them but I think today I felt a bit lonely :o). I perked up a bit and rearrange my room, I have loads and loads and loads of paperwork to sort out but my room looks lovely and much more organised.

I have to go pack my bag so I will see you in week folks

    xxxxxxxxx

As long as it's not in a week;)! And weekend reviews aren't pinch. They're grounding and help you to prepare for that awful question on Monday mornings "and what did yu get up to at the weekend?"

I know spendy weekends are not what we should be doing but sometimes it's what is needed. It's always nice to catch up with friends.

Hope the week is good for you.

  • My eye was immediately drawn to the broke my neck and I thought whats she fallen over now !

A spendy weekend yes, but is the bank account in an overdraft rather than over the overdraft? If it is then don't worry, its January, the longest month ever invented, and nearly payday ;)
