Hi Buffy,
Just found your thread, hope you dont mind me jumping in. Havent read it all yet but will catch up at some point. Good idea for the 100 day challenge. I like the things that you have put on your lists but there is a lot there and that is one hefty challenge that you are setting . Do you intend to prioritise them? Will you work out which you absolutely must achieve and which you will be happy to be someway along? I ask because I have a habit of setting challenges and then trying to do too much.
I may have a think about a 100 day challenge. I am over on the Matrix but this is something I have avoided. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
Flying visit again, mainly just to rant. I worked in the conservatory last night and got LOADS done. I was meant to do the same tonight but it is hard to leave Mum on her own and she obviouslys didn't want me to.
I should have toughed it out tho, but I didn't and now it will be freezing out there so I will have to try to mark sitting here which is impossible. I am really angry with myself for this. I was SO pleased last night, marked nearly fifty essays and did some planning. Today at work i got rid of all of them and it felt great.
And it is suddenly ten o clock.
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Agree with Beanie. I wonder if it's worth telling mum you'll be in the conservatory for an hour and will bevack to sit with her. It can't be easy for either of you! She'll have been on her own all day and wants company whereas you want to wind down and get on with the work.
Hope youget the work done.

I was afraid I'd come back and have people telling me to tell Mum to suck it up, was going to delete but as ever Urg and Beanie you don't let me down, thanks for understanding

I'd go with the others too, when you get home, have a quick cuppa with her and some tea, then head out while its warm enough, get your work done and packed away ready to take back in the morning. Set yourself a time to finish, then the rest of the evening is yours (and hers if you want it to be).
There is no easy answer, apart from the one you gave yourself which was the great feeling to hand back the workOne small step for ME, one giant leap for my family!

Hi Buffy just found and read through your diary (ok the first 2pages then jumped to page 25 but will catch up!). A lot of your posts could have been written by me! As you know, I too am still pining over an ex but have taken your advice to get out there rather than wait for whatever may happen to happen. We also have very similar new years resolutions! Hope work is bearable, I know the feeling although I am now lucky to have an alrightish job I dont have to take home with me.
Hope you dont mind me popping in.

Hi Buffy
Does your Mum know how you feel, and how much pressure you are under with work? I don't want to sound harsh as I know some of your history, but your Mum cannot live her life through you

You are more then welcome Little Boots! I dare you to be over your guy by the summer?
I just don't have much time to meet men and when I do, they don't seem to like me very much! Something to work on I suppose, am so used to being on my own that I really don't play well with others.
I am SO tired, I took headache pills last night and they have knocked me for six today.
Paid day so debt will be going down. must check holiday insurance.
