You know yourself well enough to know when you need the Docs and when you can sort it out yourself.

I know that it's easy to start with the best intentions, then when you're tired after work, with the prospect of more work, it's easier to eat toast or a cheese sandwich and then be too tried to make a meal. I often fall into that trap, but when I get my act back together it doesn't take long before I start to feel great again. Take care :)

Ah I see now holy cow you can't go through a day without drinking anything. That is silly even in the british climate. If you were here doing that in summer, you would be in hospital! One tip I found helped with water intake, was to have a drink straight after going to the loo. I still think that blood tests would at least put your mind at rest that there wasn't something medically wrong AS WELL as not taking care to drink and eat properly.....

My aims for Memory Girl's 100 day challenge.

Its not great to be honest

    1. Lose weight - between 1 - 2 stone. I know that is a bit vague! but I don't want to get caught up it all, so anything from a pound to 2 pounds per week is good. I am ordering the Fly lady body clutter book......I want to do more walking/running since it helps with my stress levels

I did manage more walking for someperiods but I have been pretty ill the last couple of months. Not lost any weight

    2. Declutter the house and sell all I can on e bay. Clearout the loft especially for ebay and charity shop.

I have the stuff in the conservatory to ebay. Loft is on hold till the shed is built.

    3. Pay off 2000 pounds of the debt.

Done. but have had to buy the new cooker and pay towards the fence and shed.

    4. Get an schedule and stick to it. ie, sleep, eating, working in a balance which means I do my job and don't have these periods of stress that are if I am honest mostly my own fault. (use the control journal)I procastinate loads and this must stop.

    NOT DONE.

    5. Catch up with my masters, finish the first (by 31st July) and second module by the end of the summer holidays.

    NOT DONE

    6. Follow the Flylady plan, for the house and work

Done I would say 70% of the time. Living room and Kitchen is normally fifteen minutes away from being.

    7. Finish the garden(weeding cleaning), start the fish pond(digging)

Not done. but was always aiming to do it in 1/2 term so the plan is some on Thurs and Sat

    8. Paint the bathroom and then get some one in to fit a boiler

Did paint the bathroom and the boiler is fitted and done!

    9. Paint the wood work in the house and do small niggley jobs. Ideally I want to put up shelves for some stuff from the loft but not sure Mum will cope. The whole boiler malarky has been going on long enough.

Doing wed/Thur/Fri of this week ( I think my 100 days may worked out wrong!!)

    10. Return the conservatory to its former glory - it is clutter ville atm. and I did have it straight before and will do again

    Not done

    Hi Buffy,

Just about to head to bed but wanted to say well done for all that you have achieved. Would you have achieved them if you did not start the challenge? I think you have done really well considering not feeling great and the ongoing stresses of work.

    Well done x x

  • I think Memory Girl is running another 50 day challenge so hopefully some of the above will be finished.

I have broken off contact with the ex, AGAIN! thanks to some supportive friends. I find myself longing for the Summer suddenly......... feel very sad.

I realised whilst reading my old diary, that i have bought some books I haven't read yet. I also need to do some money moving and sorting out to pay for the cooker and the Fence (am so HAPPY about the fence) but it is going to extend the debt. I reckon I will have to find about 400 pounds from some where.

Well I am a bit tired and not feeling like I will get there right now. I am suddenly very depressed by the state of the house, my lack of organisation and total laziness and lack of motivation. think I might try a little nap, since I couldn't sleep again last night.

thanks tho, will be back later with an update.

Hi Buffy, I read somewhere a while back that the blue light emmitted from computers/laptops tricks the brain into thinking it's daytime and time to wake up so if you are having trouble sleeping maybe turn the computer off when it gets late and read a book.

Can't believe you don't drink during the day, dehydration must be causing some of your health issues. I'm not the best at the water drinking myself but I tend to have very regular cups of tea so I do get fluids in.

I tend to get depressed too:( I find that on days like that it's impossible to feel motivated for 50 day challenges, etc. I tend to take to my bed and not fight it too much but I don't let it go on for too long. 1-2 days in bed, hiding from the world is ok, a whole week or longer isn't.

Hope you feel better tomorrow but even if you don't come and post on here and somebody will be able to think of something to help:grouphug:
