See, there you go beating yourself up again for being honest! We alll feel vulnerable. At the moment the recession is causing me and DH no end of financial concerns so I've just not posted in my dairy as it would be all negative and everyone else is being so positive.

Its hard when others are getting to the end of their journeys are we are still in the planning stage. Ours is a long haul hopefully finished by the time we are 50 (13 years ) but we will get there and we will still be around with a virual glass of bubbly to celebrate

Buffy, you have to do what feels right for you but remember there are a lot of people on here who care about you :A

You don't sound paranoid or ridiculous - just normal!

It's hard when trying to off-load and get across how you feel - whilst trying to be covert too, as it's an open forum. We've all written things we probably regret - I know I have :o
Sorry if my tone didn't strike the right chord, but don't give up the diary :)

For what its worth I think that you are doing bloody fantastic! You are a most excellent teacher and grit your teeth and get on with it knowing that your debt free date is within reach.

To teach full time AND do extra tutoring AND learning to drive AND looking after Mum AND have a social life is quite a juggling act.

It wont be like this forever and having met you I can say that you are FUN and not in the least bit a miserable. I like you xx

And you make me larf:kisses3: ......*holds Buffys hand and gets up off the miserable bench to dance to Michael Jacksons Thriller*
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    Hi Buffy,

I think we all know that you aren't like this all the time - you have been there for so many of us that we want to be there for you. I hope that you still will be able to share here. We've all found MSE as a wonderful space for us and our money and other issues.

Buffy we know that we only see part of your on here. It must be very hard not to be able to just dump eveything on here because of your role in a school. Having to self monitor all the time.

I am so sorry if I was too harsh. I am sure that you can use techniques you already know to turn around how you think.

    good luck with the debtbusting

  • Hello folks!

Well work is a bit rough but I should be able to handle it. Tidying up my room has made a lot of difference and I just have to get on with some hard work!!

Debt wise the loan stands at 5092, I have a fairly serious CC bill due to the cooker but I should be able pay that off next month and mean while try the post office to transfer my loan balance..........

The plan at the moment - re last week's re think

    1. Fence will be built next week, shed up too
    2. Paperwork needs sorting - next weekend?
    3. Bedroom - shelves need painting and so does the window sill and desk. I wanted to do it today, but am holding at headache a bay so did my shopping and errands today instead and will tackle painting tomorrow
    4. Work - going to do some tonight paperwork etc.

I went out to dinner with a two different friends this week and that was good. Need dinner now so will add more later.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

    Hi Buffy,

Happy painting! Looks like you are making great progress. The fence will look great and you'll have a real sense of achievement when it is done!
I have finally bitten the bullet and ordered my new windows. I procrastinated for ages but am now looking forward to a warmer winter!

    Have a good day!
