  • It rained so no garden action, flipping weather,

    Loft action has occurred. Two boxes down and sorted, one fo e bay one for storage. I also had a quick look round up there and I do have alot of stuff up there but much of the big stuff can be sold (wonders if Suzysue is reading?) which is good. Ideally I would like the shed to be functional and for me to use it to store stuff like suit cases and sleeping bags, and be able to go in and out (unlike the other shed which is a case of shove it in and hope for the best!) Everything is in plastic boxes, labelled(OCD moi?) and stackable according to size........(let the !!!! taking comence!)

    one problem tho I did want to fit the garden bench in there too. plus a bike.............hmmmm. over ambitious!!

    Got to do some more sorting now.

    see you later

    Just a word of warning about storing stuff in sheds....they get really damp, so books and sleeping bags etc are liable to get a bit mildewy.

  • All the boxes are plastic and pretty air tight, so I am hopeful they will be okay covered up with old (clean!) tea towels with the lid on top. Thanks thoxx

    I have 6 boxes of stuff to e bay and have sorted out a fair whack under the bed plus the plastic containers cupboard and sorted some paperwork.

    Got to do some school prep now. would really love a 9 to 5 job right now.

    so sleepy. dreading work tomorrow.

  • The shed is up!
    I was so excited this morning but Mum has rather put a dampen on things but ho hey I should be very used to that by now. I have moved all the boxes from the conservatory to the shed (I am little nervous about the damp to be honest but will have to risk it). The conservatory needs some TLC but that will be done tomorrow.

    I am well chuffed (especially with the conservatory) despite Mum's reservations. It means that I can mark out there and e bay my things one box at a time without being worried that Mum is annoyed at the mess. I feel finally now that the dispute with the neighbour is over and Mum is now reasonably safe from his vile behaviour things can move on house wise. Now I have space to sort things and put stuff till I have time to deal with it I feel much better.

    Money wise things are tight. very tight.
    Loan = 5092.95
    CC = 400?(summer)
    CC = 841.73(cooker, shed, fence)

    This is down to paying for the cooker and the fence - Mum paid for the cooker and I only paid for just under half the fence but I haven't had all the money yet. Due to my utter stupidity I messed up online banking access and missed my payment day for the cc been charged 12 quid plus obviously the interest on my balance. Part of me is annoyed - the other part of me is saying well that hasn't happened for ages and frankly I needed to sort the fence and the cooker no one died!

    So fence sorted, Mum will give me her share which will go straight on the CC and the usual payment on the loan.Christmas.........hmmm. that is going to be interesting....................! and hopefully cheap.

    I am disappointed with the having of CC debt again but it will be paid off in two weeks so I guess Matin would call that "good" debt?

    So squeaky but doable.....

  • THe bill will be paid on the 1st December and now I have access to my bank again it won't be a problem(have written down passowrds!). Its only the second its ever happened. One thing I did think was good with Egg(who have given me a card!) you have to have a minimum payment DD set up - good idea! I suppose it might be good to have one in case....*is not sensible and organised!* How Next are causing you problems Shoe? (although when I disputed those bloody catalogue charges they were a nightmare, plus when I paid a bill by card but they put it on my (closed for over a year) account and so the payment didn't show up they were also night mare, so actually yes I can see how they would be a problem. grrrrrrrrrrr)

    MUST ring the Post office Credit card!! do not forget remember remember!

    Got lots to do today.

    Quick list

    1. Guinea pigs - Mum fed them leeks last night which I am sure are poisonous, watched them for about an hour last night seem ok, also seem fine this morning. I shan't give them veg tonight and will put them out in the run to give them a good stretch and get their tummies going. plus clean them out
    2. get three things out of the loft for the shed
    3. clean fish out
    4. tidy room(its like a teenage room, clothes, plates, guinea pig food, leeks!!)
    5. mark two lots of books.

    right got to go

    see you when the list is done!!

    ah your point no 4 brings back memories. I had a deal with my mum that as long as there was a path across the bedroom floor she wouldn't complain about it!!! Have a good day.
