morning ladies. I had a call from my best friend last night - she hasnt had AF since beginning of march. she came to my house all in a shock and used on of my tests - BFP......then we had to go tescos to get another coz she didnt believe it.....BFP again - straigh away, no messing about. Shes never had to have any responsibility, she doesnt drive, she lives at home, her Boyf lives at home and they have an ok relationship. think its a shock for both of them....a result of not taking her pill properly.
I have mixed emotions, jealous its not me, happy for her, scared for her. shes the last person i wud ever think of ever having children.....
fingers crossed i will join her soon as i cudnt think of a better person to be pregnant alongside than a best friend! xxxxCurrent Mortgage balance - £363,785.35/£420,000 (highest point Oct 2022).0 -
Morning ladies, another beautiful day, hope everyone is enjoying the sun?
SusanC you sound so very brave, I can’t imagine how hard it is, but hope you get some hope now.
Cleomolly, did you enjoy you walk? Sounds like a lovely place to go for a mooch around.
Glad your on the mend BigZippy. I’m not sure these men get the whole ttc process really. Mine said the other day, aren’t you pregnant yet!? NO! Now shush, you are not helping.
Hugs Keza, its tough isn’t it? Im sure its normal, but it does seem when ttc or after having a mc, everyone everywhere is pregnant!
It’ll be all of us soon, I’m sure!:)
Don’t tell QQ, but I have really sore nips, and little niggly pains in my belly! CD21. Im sure im just imagining it though.0 -
calamityclare wrote: »Thanx Gemma and Countrybum, its the pressure im under, there were 3 administrators in my office at the beginning of the year (taken over from a previous company last year) and our jobs were made redundant but with an opening for an operations coordinator (fancy administrator) i was selected for that job but the amount of work that is expected of me is enough for at least 2 people, leaving at 5oclock is now a distant memory, im having to stay late till 7ish just to get the days work done. Wouldnt let me have any help because they made redundancies.....i have holiday booked coming up but have no cover at all as no other admin people so they have finally let me have a temp but obviously going to take time to train someone up to cover the amount i do. I have people chasing me all the time, hardly have a lunch break and having to wing it on a brand new system with hardly any training...its crazy just feel like noone gives a dam
Big hugs Clare. I'm sorry you're having trouble, can you try to find something else? I guess it's a bit of a vicious circle though because when do you have time to job hunt?! Hope you can sort something though I don't imagine the pressure and stress is good for your health in general, nevermind TTC.euronorris wrote: »As for weird dreams.....God help me if that's a pregnancy symptom cos I have VERY weird dreams as it is. Last night involved me having a new baby girl, named Clara (not a name that either OH or I would chose), but I was so unprepared when I was due to leave the hospital. All I had was a car seat, with wheels (!), and everyone thought I should be pushing it along like a pushchair! OH went off to get the car and stuff, and then some of my friends showed up and were adamant that I go to view a flat with them! So I did, and it was in a really rough part of town, and was a complete tip and I was desparate to get out. Then people were trying to steal my baby, and I managed to get away and find OH again, but when I looked down our newborn baby was now 3 or 4 months old and I was absolutely gutted that I had missed out on enjoying those precious early days. And then I woke up!
What crazy stuff will I dream about when I am pregnant????? lol

Maybe your dreams are so weird anyway that your pregnancy dreams will be completely normal!QQuaver wrote:My scan was fine today, thanks for asking:)
Great thing about my doctor is that he's always so optimistic:p
Either that, or my eggies are really growing nicely:cool:QQuaver wrote:It depends on how many I get fertilized and how many develops OK.
But if we get enough, it'll be three... :shocked:JennyJewell wrote:Hello all

Morning all, and what a lovely day! I have an urge to skip through a meadow of bluebells.... Just need to find one in Zone 1:rotfl:
Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine. It looks great from my office window:rotfl:
Anyway, thank you all for the advice... seems I mustn't panic re ovulation. Yet. I must have missed this month.
And good luck to everyone. Believe you me I am not this dim in real life by far but I am struggling to understand how my mechanics work!
QQ - I am 30 (30s was including The Man). And how do you define trying for a baby? Because, we were playing Russian Roulette from Nov 2010 while still in discussion regarding babbies and have been fully worrying about when/where/how for a week? Otherwise Nov is fine.
Thank you all for the warm welcome!

Hey Girlies,
How are you all? Good I hope, it's almost the Easter weekend :T
I am starting to imagine all sorts of symptoms, I'm wee-ing loads and having niggly low tummy aches but it's got to be waaaaay to early to be anything - I was trying to convince DH that even if we did fall first month out the symptoms don't happen overnight
He's on late shift, so no pouncing is going to be happening in the Icey household tonight, also he's wanting to wait for Friday so that he'll have lots of boys to send my way. He's worrying that he'll not be up to job if I keep leaping on him left, right and centre. So Friday is it then.
Susan, Isabella is a beautiful name and I hope you find her a lovely spot in your village graveyard so that you can stop by sometimes. Hugs to you and your OH, take care of yourselves.
QQ, fingers crossed for your eggies growing well!
SBD and hugs to everyone

I was just coming on to post the same!I had to get up four time in the night and I was only in bed 6 hours! :rotfl: I keep having low tummy aches too but I think it maybe AF as I have been on the pill for so long that I'm not used to the aches and pains!
My DH is the same, getting way too carried away thinking we will be sucessful first month!
