I've got the usual tummy cramping pains that I've noticed I seem to get a few days before AF arrives so looks like I'm out this month. I'm fine with it as we're going away on holiday in a couple of weeks all inclusive so I can make the most of all the free drinkies :beer: this will be me in the bar most nights

SusanC, big hugs. You sound remarkably positive for someone who has been through such a tough time, which is really admirable. Lots of love to you and Isabella.

Thanks everyone who advised re cervix position. I will keep monitoring and recording. I find it quite gross when I think about it, but equally I find it really interesting - I spent so long not really thinking about how my body worked, and now I'm learning how clever and fascinating it all is! :D

DH keeps telling me he thinks I'm pregnant - I don't know what his basis is for this, but I had to tell him not to go on about it, I don't want to get my hopes up too much.

Having said that, it's so hard not to SS! Have v sore nips and have had little dull aches on and off all day in my lower tummy. I know its far too early and I'm a VERY NAUGHTY GIRL! :p

I'm glad your eggy collecting went well QQ :)

Thanks for coming back Kira, and for re-explaining. :) I hope you get the answers you want/need soon. How many DPO are you? Have you tried any other brands or a Clear Blue Digi, with the conception indicator? It might put your mind at rest?

Thanks. I'm 13 DPO by my reckoning, and AF was due today- no sign as yet, and usually i'm pretty regular to start in the afternoon. Did another test, and got yet another vvfp. I have a twin pack of CB digital tests, so i'll probably use one tomorrow or the day after if AF still not arrived. I did use one 2 days ago and got a -ve, but could still have been too soon.

Hey ho. It will all become clear in time one way or the other!

Just read back a bit, I do apologise as my post came smack bang in the middle of condolences. I am sorry, I wrote elsewhere, came back in here, posted then hid a bit.

Susan - my heart goes out to you and your family at this time. I never know what to say in these situations, but I hope my acknowledgement and sympathy means something no matter how little.

SusanC perfect name. God bless, you and your family.
I have no other words... :(

Calamity sorry you're struggling at work. I hope you find something that helps soon...like maybe something beany that keeps you away from there for a while? :p

Haven't seen Beastienders for about a week I don't think, so not sure what you lovely ladies are on about :o

I wondered if you ladies (and sirs if any) could help. My husband and I have been lazily trying to conceive for the past 6 months and have come to the conclusion that the ‘stab-in-the-dark’ approach may not be so useful ;O). Anyway, now we have decided that we are committed to this baby making malarkey and I think we need some help?

...now I'm panicking that I do not ovulate
If you weren't ovulating, in theory your cycles would be pretty messed up. It's not always the case, but if you've no other symptoms of anything wrong, try not to worry too much...it's a sure fire way to make you not ovulate! ;) Trust me...
Welcome to the thread anyway :)

Might be worth waiting til the weekend for the second one, give your body a bit more time to get the hormone levels up? If I remember right you should get a more confirmed +ive at 4days past AF being due (providing you're regular and you ovulated when you thought you had). Good luck :)

Well, my random week of spotting is over , and the yeast infection seems to have gone :o, and it hasn't been passed to DH ;).

I've not much of a clue where I am with ov or not ov, but what will be will be. I'll just have to concentrate on losing weight, and hopefully that will take up some of the brain space TTC would otherwise occupy! :p

Besides, I figure if we DTD every other dayish then we've got as much chance as we would if we knew when I was oving anyway..

I've tried to explain to DH that that's the best plan, what with my immune system messing with BBT, and the OPKs don't seem to love me either, and all of that. And told him that DTD (and saying "let's make a baby") when I'm (what I think is) well after ov is just a smidge annoying :o and makes me feel like he's getting his hopes up only to have them dashed, cos he (wasn't) concentrating on the more important phase, iyswim?:o

I haven't been positive all the time but I think it has definitely helped having two weeks between when we found out and when she was born as it meant we felt more prepared for it by the time it did happen. Beforehand this was the worst possible scenario I had thought of (I had actually thought about it) and whilst I wouldn't pretend it hasn't been very hard, it has not been as bad as I imagined. (Although today is a good day - I'd probably say something completely different on a bad day.)

Yes - 28/29 days or thereabouts. Has been for years. I did not know it was before...
Then you'll probably ov between CD12-19. So perhaps start testing with OPKs from CD8?
I See, will do my best - the 3 hour thing may be hard and I really do not want to use my wee/shot glass combo @ work! Good to know though for if/when things start to get desparate.
I'd do once every day, just before going to bed from CD8, and when the lines starts to get darker, more frequently, including FMU (first morning urine).
Will look @ the goo and may get husband to deal with the cervix. He seems to enjoy playingwith it.
    Good idea:cool:

Would you like to be listed on the first page?
Would something like this be OK?

well my hospital appointment went well, it wasn't too bad going back to the hospital but I found being in the small waiting room alone a bit hard as it brought back so many memories :(
Never been back to my old hospital where I had mc... (((hugs))).
was a little disapointed that I've got to wait 12 weeks for af before they will give me provera
    Hope you ov before that:)
Cycles are always alternating 28 and 32 days (except once 22 days when I was in hospital last August). I am only on day 24 so this is really early.

I am hoping its not AF, and I will do a test in the morning, but it really looks like it, even if the timing is out :(:(
    Fingers crossed it's not AF:o
Thanks guys, yes i have thought about leaving but a part of me dont want to give up...im not usually a quitter. Couldn really survive on oh money alone. Everytime i feel im getting somewhere i get slapped back again. i will percevere for a bit longer. Had another tough day today and someone else buckled under the pressure and left, he was one of the good guys too
    Awww.... Good luck:o
