Hi and welcome:wave:
One ov's 10-16 days before AF. Do you know your cycle length? Is it regular?
Yes - 28/29 days or thereabouts. Has been for years. I did not know it was before... How embarassed am I? I think for this month, it being the first and all, I may just test daily. 'The man' (husband) has an app for my fertility as it goes.
You should do opks twice a day, once in the afternoon, and one in the evening, with concentrated urine (having not drank or been to the wc for about 3 hrs beforehand). I See, will do my best - the 3 hour thing may be hard and I really do not want to use my wee/shot glass combo @ work! Good to know though for if/when things start to get desparate.
Good idea to get cheap OPKs like the ones from Amazon: Purchased! (I am a clever bunny - I bought the right ones))
Other ways are taking BBT temps, checking cervical position, and swolleness of vagina:) Will look @ the goo and may get husband to deal with the cervix. He seems to enjoy playingwith it.
Would you like to join this thread? I would like to come and play - thank you for the invite!
Good luck on this amazing journey:j[/QUOTE] Thank you!
Ok a bit about us - early 30s, work full time, no children, married since sept, with the agreement that babies would come much later, but hey ho. Oh, have been pill/injection free for a few years.

Hugs Susan for what must have been a trying time, but glad you feel the timing was right and Isabella is a beautiful name. I'm on my way to take some flowers to the Peter Pan rememberance garden, Isabella will be in my thoughts also
BB I also find cervical position a good indicator to ov, it takes some getting the hang of, but once you find your own pattern its really helpful. I've always tried to track mine so if you want to take a look at my chart (link on the first page) feel free to nosey at mine
well my hospital appointment went well, it wasn't too bad going back to the hospital but I found being in the small waiting room alone a bit hard as it brought back so many memorieswas a little disapointed that I've got to wait 12 weeks for af before they will give me provera  thought that was a little extreme but hay ho I trust the medical profession. Also said that I could get referral back to him if/when I'm pregnant again for him to do the nuchal scan and cvs if required (he used the words 'when' quite a lot) I just wanted to remind him that these things aren't to be taken for granted but his positivity must have rubbed off a little as I feel quite pleased after the apointment
lol Also good to hear that they found no reason to believe Buddy's heart problems were anything genetic so shouldn't pose a problem in future pregnancies. all in all he said 'this was a one off'
And as its such a beautiful evening I'm off to take the dogs for a walk around the grounds where Buddy rests, sounds depressing but it truely is a beautiful placeDMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 315Married 03/04/2010with many thanks to MSE Wedding boardLO 23/03/12 Special thanks to TTC thread0 -

Have had a very strange cycle?!
started with
-boobs normally really sore-hardly noticeable this month
-been really tired all week but getting same Sleep as normal. Am fine and then it can just hit me like a ton of bricks!
-woke up 5dpo and 7dpo during the night feeling nauseous and couldn't get back to sleep.
-feeling more down than normal for pmt
-been really congested at night
Felt fine last few days, now am 11 dpo.
Last night I felt a nipping feeling to the side of my belly button. nothing i have experienced before.
Started spotting earlier, just a slight streak when I wiped (TMI ), which has gotten a bit more substantial since. (Still no need for pad or tampon, only when I wipe). also quite crampy earlier. like AF pains, though did have a pain going through my side and back that isnt normal.
Cycles are always alternating 28 and 32 days (except once 22 days when I was in hospital last August). I am only on day 24 so this is really early.
I am hoping its not AF, and I will do a test in the morning, but it really looks like it, even if the timing is out:(

That way, you could leave and concentrate on finding another job. Retail work would be less money, but a hell of a lot less pressure and is probably one of the easiest jobs to find (because of high staff turnover) right now. Is that an option?
At least that way, you might not be earning the same, but still be enough to continue TTC'ing.Aww bless Clare, I know just how you feel. I used to feel like that in my job and if it's any consolation you may be surprised how quickly you can get into the swing of things, even if it feels like it will never get any easier. A few years ago I was working all hours because of my workload and I know it is really stressful. Things have gone completely the opposite way now for me as I can do my job in my sleep and with no prospect of promotion I'm soooo boooorrrrrrreeeedddd. I'm never happy me! The fact you were chosen for the job in the first place means they must rate you (whether or not they show it). xx
Thanks guys, yes i have thought about leaving but a part of me dont want to give up...im not usually a quitter. Couldn really survive on oh money alone. Everytime i feel im getting somewhere i get slapped back again. i will percevere for a bit longer. Had another tough day today and someone else buckled under the pressure and left, he was one of the good guys tooAnyone watch Eastenders last night, crikey I sobbed! Us women eh! x
yes cried my eyes out but then i was a bit of a wreck anyway yesterdaysuch good acting i thought
