Fortunately you are slim, so you don't have to:cool:
NOW I'm slim, but a couple years ago I was carrying around a couple of extra stones in weight, so I did have to cut back on junk food in general (mainly my crisp obsession!).
Been eating too much chocolate lately and put on a few pounds. Must start exercising again! :rotfl:February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Many thanks Euronorris/Susan.
I've been using OPK's since Saturday 16 April and have not had a positive reading yet. So judging by what EuroNorris says I could be due to ovulate soon rather than my assumption that I have already... In case anyone is wondering why I am so fixated with this, it's because my partner and I lead somewhat hectic lives and do not want to have sex every other day (well, I would, but he looks a bit green after a month of every other day). Plus I've been really worried that there may be problems.
I've spent 13 years avoiding pregnancy at all cost and have never been pregnant; I've never really wanted children. We then decide that we need to provide the world with our spawn and... well... it hasn't happened yet.
I'm sure you all ask this from time to time, but how the hell do people get pregnant 'by accident'? If you can only hit the jackpot on a certain day, with the jubilee line running without delays and malaysian chicken on pret's menu - how do the Jeremy Kyle clientele (I was off last week ;O) manage to fall by accident?
(If this is the wrong place for my musing, please let me know - I may write in a slightly flippant way, but this journey is not being taken lightly at all. The flippancy is to try to raise a smile with every paragraph!)0 -

D*mmit! It does mine, and it makes me the opposite and soooo lethargic! Cue some sulking from him last night when he realised he wasn't getting any! :rotfl:
God, I hope our apartment is cooler tonight as it was 30.5 degrees indoors when I got home yesterday! :eek:February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Yep, and it does F all! lol. We do have a small air conditioning unit though, but we need to set it up again for this year (we've been through this the last 2 years already).
Good luck with the scan and accupuncture! I'm sure everything will be wonderful!February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Hi ladies - I have another question - which is probably stupid but....
How long does it take to get pregnant? I mean in the scientific sense of you do the baby dance (love that term), the sperm and the egg does its bit and hey presto you’re pregnant. Does that happen in a couple of days of you doing the BD or does it take the majority of your cycle for the magic to happen?
Of course I appreciate that it can be a long hard slog before the magic happens.0
