    Hi I'm baaaaaack!:wave::j

Well done and thanks to all for keeping up with the lists and keeping the thread peaceful:)

    And welcome to newbies:wave:
I think I've added all to the list on the first page, but let me know if you are not on there, or want something changed:)

I see there were no BFPs in my absence, hope you were not waiting for me to come back for that:D

Because of waking up at odd hours and in different beds, my chart is haywire:o But we had a great time, and weather was brilliant all the way through:)
Bit of an unusual question for you all, some time ago on this thread somebody posted a poem about how much those of us who have had difficulties having children will love and cherish them when we are finally blessed. For the life of me I can't find it now, anyone have any idea of what the poem was ?
    I can't find it:o I know I've read it few times. I'll keep looking:o

Can someone add me to the list, I can't remember how to do it.
    Welcome Jennynoo:wave:
How would you like to be listed on the first page?
    It'll be something like this:

    jennynoo (age? not compulsory:p) TTC#2 since 08/11
After he's eventually done that does anyone know what happens after that if that comes back ok?
That's usually it, but they may test his hormones:)
I never have a lot of blood at AF time, maybe 3 days max and very light - is there such a thing as not enough for a bean to stick too?
Yes. Too thin endometrial lining. Do you know if your luteal phase is long enough?

I swear DW was about 2/3 of the way towards killing me! :D Suffice to say, we will never renovate a house together.

    Too many bosses huh?:D
Im at work with something irritating in my eye and it WONT come out, does anybody have a good trick for getting something you cant see out of your eye?!!
    Have you tried washing?
Could it be an eyelash? In which case a tissue folded into a sharp edge works for me:o Good luck.
Has anybody have that scan? I think they go internally to check and I'm a bit concerned that I'll be 11dpo it could upset my non existent bean!
I had the scan, they are perfectly safe for the bean:) It's the same scan as for checking the bean at the early stages.

Also, Ive been googling for pics of ovarian cysts as I dont get the results til a weeks time or something, and I figured if theres a screen, I can just look?!
You can just look, also ask questions right away. They usually tell you on the spot. Before you lie down, make sure you can see the screen;) Also I'd wear a skirt and socks, so you don't have to strip down everything (obviously knickers will have to go).

    Good luck:)

So... I'm 13DPO today, and got a bit over excited this morning and had to POAS. It was a bfn, BUT... the control line was super faint. Does that mean that maybe the stick was a little bit faulty? *crosses fingers*
It's either you peed too much or your pee was too diluted:o

Ooh a few potentially exciting symptoms going on...! :D Fingers crossed that they meanz beanz.

LOL at the DIY stories! My DH and I have completely renovated our house, and it has definitely been testing at times! I think it's been good for us though :) I love DIY, am planning another major project on our house at the moment (just as it's in a vaguely nice state, I'm bored and want to trash it again!)

10DPO, and feeling less hopeful as my temp has gone down again, not far above the coverline now :( Also I have had a few little cramps today again, plus a TINY barely-perceptible bit of spotting. Trying to keep my PMA!! Difficult given that today is my first day back at work after nearly 2 weeks off...

    glad you're back skintchick :)

Can't see me doing attachment parenting - the thought of sharing my bed with anyone else does not appeal! It's bad enough having my DH hogging all the space and stealing the duvet, plus in the winter my fat cat likes to sprawl across the bottom of the bed, and the kitten brrows down under the covers between us. Perhaps we need to invest in a Super King size! :rotfl: Do want to try BFing and using a sling though - but best not get ahead of myself, eh.

Anyhoo, have a nice avo everyone

    BB x

p.s. Welcome back QQ! we missed you :p

Hmm, I don't think it was too diluted (and it was FMU), but I did basically drop the stick into the deodorant cap I was using for collection, so I may have just accidentally saturated it.

    Try again tomorrow, I suppose!

So we do co-sleeping, BF and carry baby in a sling or carrier. I initially liked the idea of it because I hate getting out of bed(!) but after doing quite a bit of reading I decided it was the best option for my little family and it has worked well for us so far. Dr Sears is the guru but I can recommend a few other books as well if you are interested.

Hmmm....i want to do the BF and probably the sling some of the time but I don't much fancy sharing my bed with anyone else, there's barely enough room for DH and I!!!! We both like to sleep like star fish!!

QQ, nice to have you back. glad you had a lovely holiday.

    Zippy - you're very quiet, hope you're ok x

It's still high enough:) Hope the spotting is something beany:o

    I might squash the baby:o

I'd like to try BFing, but sling seems heavy:o

Use an eye bath if possible - if you have a first aider at work (which you should) then they will (depending on the company needs) have access to one. (Can you tell I used to do H&S? :p) Don't rub it/stick anything in it though - you risk scratching the eyeball, and that's not good. You shouldn't use anything but water in your eye - if you can blink into water, that would be good.
So I have my 7do blood test tomorrow and my scan for ovarian cysts on Saturday. Has anybody have that scan? I think they go internally to check and I'm a bit concerned that I'll be 11dpo it could upset my non existent bean! Im 98% sure that its not us this month, as the timing was off, which is why I dont feel like I am in the 2ww and wont have a testing date - BUT, 2% of me is a bit worried about the what ifs.
They didn't bother with an external scan with me - straight to internal. It was more dignified than a smear imo, cos they don't look at your bits directly, iyswim? It won't hurt a bean :)

They willingly offered to showed me there and then, so just ask if they don't offer :)

I'm just shattered mainly. Thanks for asking. I'm on CD10ish, and still got heavy AF, and before CD1 I had about 4 days of spotting, so I'm fed up. I'm fed up of feeling sooo tired (AF drains me of all energy) and my joints are loose and I have more nerve pain too, so I'm essentially in my own world (of pain and zombiedom :p), so keeping quiet :o I really want this to be like a reset button on all this ridiculous cycle business, and us to be in with a real shot this cycle (/month?) :o I can ask to be referred back to gynae in a month or so, but I don't want to have to be :o

NYNS really needs to update us! :p
    And Scarly - fingers crossed
    QQ welcome back
Skintchick - hope you're feeling better now?

    Can't remember anything else :o

My bladder still isn't happy on and off so given the drs a call. Recon I have IC which can be common with IBS. Will be lots of testing before I get to that diagnosis though ...!

    Good luck tomorrow:)

Thank you - In my defence, it was at 7.30 on a Monday morning, so my coordination wasn't really up to much.

Oooh, I read an article a couple of weeks ago which I wanted to mention to some of you ladies - particularly the ones who have had their DH's swimmers tested. It was about the instances of varicocele in men who have lower counts, and the fact that treatment (which isn't offered on the NHS but is in the USA and Israel and by some dr's privately in the UK) has had some effectivness in increasing counts.

It's on The Times' website, and I can't link to it because it's all pay per view, but thought some people might find it interesting.

It's even more common if you have IBS and PCOS. They say I have it. I've had the (not pleasant) tests and see the urologist again in a couple of months. In the meantime they've written to my GP to put me on low dose (TTC safe) antibiotics for 6months. It's frustrating that to get to this point you have to have a load of tests for things they don't even think you'll have, as it's a case of diagnosis by elimination.

ETA: try taking a concentrated cranberry supplement - it helped me break the cycle when I was had 9 infections in 8 weeks.
