It's even more common if you have IBS and PCOS. They say I have it. I've had the (not pleasant) tests and see the urologist again in a couple of months. In the meantime they've written to my GP to put me on low dose (TTC safe) antibiotics for 6months. It's frustrating that to get to this point you have to have a load of tests for things they don't even think you'll have, as it's a case of diagnosis by elimination.

ETA: try taking a concentrated cranberry supplement - it helped me break the cycle when I was had 9 infections in 8 weeks.
Great :o I'm only at the beginning of this loooooooong road. They demanded I went down and delivered them a sample. The man behind the reception gave me that tall small white pot and a bag to put it in after. I asked for a cup or something to go in and he said its only that pot. I gave him that are you bloooody mad stare. Thankfully I managed to do it very well with only a small dribble for mess. :eek:I know tmi! lol.
So off it goes for whatever. Dipsticking I think he said. Hope they send it to hospital too. God knows when i'll hear back ...

    Evening all :)

Thanks for all the info on attachment parenting, it's all very interesting. Some of it sounds just like common sense, to me, but other bits I'm not sure I could stick to for long! I guess parenting is just one of those things that you can't imagine what it's really like until you're doing it!

I was supposed to go to the gym straight after work, and I was actually looking forward to it after a couple of weeks off. But I was feeling a bit funny on the train home, then when I was in the changing room I felt really hot and a bit sick and ever since then I've been getting these random stabbing pains in my tummy (if I put my hand loosely on my waist, the pain is under where my fingers rest). I'm not SSing, I promise - in fact, this avo I had a hint of what I'm sure was AF pains :( I am slightly concerned I might have a kidney infection or something (never had one before so no idea, lol!)

I'm ok now - just getting the pain for a second or two, a few times per hour...hopefully it'll be better by tomorrow.

Jules, sounds like you may have ov'd yesterday, but it could well be today. I think that ewcm normally precedes ov, with ov commonly happening near or at the end of a run of ewcm. Also, remember that the egg can live for 12-24 hours waiting for the swimmers. Either way, hope you're busy BDing right now! :rotfl:

Kidney pain is usually more in the back than the front but if you're concerned you should see a doc. Kidney infections can become quite problematic if left untreated.

Have a great time Maire :)
    And welcome back QQ

    And hello to everyone else!!

Up and down day for me. Am in the process of getting used to going from FT to SAH....well not SAHM (yet hopefully) so just Stay at home person!!! I know I am mega lucky I was so miserable in my old job I am just taking my time getting back into it.

Anyway in the meantime I am doing some work from home (for a company in the up your income section I am always paranoid about their NDA) and sometimes there is work and sometimes there is not you just have to keep checking the site. Today I have tried my best to do housework etc in between but still only about an hour's paid work today whatever way you look at it.
I have found them. Are they worth working for?

I must admit, I am a bit confused about the question on separating from your child. I don;t think any parent ever separates from their child really! I'm not being funny, but I don;t really get what you're asking, do you mean about nursery?
Sorry i knew I hadn't asked that one well! :rotfl: I meant in terms of sleeping. When do you know they are ready for their own room?
